TBH what I got out of this is - that Michael Johnson split in the 1993 US world record in Stuttgart was absolutely insane. Nobody else, in nearly 30 years, has even come close to running under 43 seconds. The hilarity is if you've seen the video of that 4x400 world record - the announcers weren't even paying attention to him on the last leg. Because the US team was so far head they were concentrating on the race for 2nd. Johnson crossed the finish line, the world record is smashed and the announcer is like, "OMG...Michael Johnson just ran 42.93!" And he looked like he was out for a Sunday stroll. Back to the video...

Running one lap is such a hard race seems like your running as fast as you can for longer than you should about the time it is getting hard to breath it time to sprint to the finish. What event today crowns you fastest man is it still the one hundred or is it the 60? True Eric the talent is all over and still surprises happen and it seems some guys stepping up to PB. Seems like we have a serious lot going about their business and working hard pushing each other without the junk talking leaving it and proving it on the track, class and respect to the competition better than I remember all round great year for track

I'm very disappointed in this channel and it's focus on only athletes in America. The U20 world champion at 100m, Tina Clayton of Edwin Allen High School in Jamaica, ran 11.23 into to a -2.8 headwind which would've been a sub 11 had she had good tailwind. The second place finisher, Brianna Lyston recorded a time of 11.26. Brianna also won the 200m race with a time of 22.53 as an 18 year old! And into a headwind of -2.2. WHERE IS THE COVERAGE ON THAT??? This all went down at the Issa Championships in Jamaica where plenty students in Jamaica now have the junior world lead in several events. Again I ask... WHERE IS THE COVERAGE?
@brianmcewen30822 жыл бұрын
You can't call Miller a "relay running extraordinaire". Extraordinaire is an adjective, you can call him a "relay runner extraordinaire". Also, he has not set any new standards at 400 m like you said. Practice these videos more carefully listening to what you're saying after you've recorded it, especially on these short ones where it wouldn't take much time to proofread them.
