In spite of Sly Stone's personal issues, there's no denying that Sly Stone is a musical genius. And his music has influenced everybody that came after him in the R&B/Pop genres. My favorite songs by Sly Stone and The Family Stone are: "Dance to the Music", " Hot Fun in The Summertime", "Stand", "Everyday People", "I Want to Take You Higher", and "If You Want Me to Stay"!

Loved Sly and The Family Stone. Great music, produced by them with a mix of funk, rnb, blues, and rock infused, made for classic cuts. My all-time fav songs were Hot Fun In The Summertime, Family Affair, Everyday People, If You Want Me To Stay, Everybody is A Star and Take You Higher. Thanks, WBPTV, for showcasing them.

Thanks for your presentation. Shame that someone didn’t help Sly. David Crosby had the same problem and he was helped, so he was able to return to his career. Sly was a great of Funk! Not many people influenced Miles Davis but he did
