Great video - I recently had a family member gift this to me. Is this a manual winding watch - any info/tips on this? Do you have any videos on servicing tips? Thanks!

Awesome watch! I just happen to have a 1962 Omega Seamaster manual wind chronograph caliber 321as well. I do not send mine to Omega for service because they will buff the case and clean the dial. The patina is what gives the watch it's personality.

Nice! Thank you for sharing. Glad to hear that you also know about the type of result you may get when you send your watch off to the authorized dealer. A lot of people assumed that they will get the proper job done if they can send it back to the authorized dealer. The fact is, majority of the time the restoration work is not properly done, it cost a lot, and the wait time is very long. Not to mention that a lot of part replacement will be involved as well.
@josephljohnson4 жыл бұрын
@@TimelessHistoryChannel the cost is starting at $750. It goes up with each part that needs to be replaced. This process will take at least 2 months on average.

@@josephljohnson Thank you for the information. 2 months is actually quite fast. Have heard as long as 6 months.

Beautiful watch. I’ve seen this with different hands (black), but I think the silver hands look slightly nicer. I also like the later, similar looking watch with 861 movement. Thanks for your interesting videos!

You’re probably referring to CK 2451 model? Should watch my other videos on my 321 collection. That other model will come with black hands.

I am looking for a 1960 Omega Sea or Const. Any coming into inventory soon? Thanks Love your channel.
@TimelessHistoryChannel5 жыл бұрын
Hi , if you're looking for 1960 specifically, maybe that will be a bit difficult. But I believe I do have some already available on the site. Have you gone through what I have? But if you just want something from 1960s in general then there should be a bit of selection for you to choose from on the site. I have a lot of untouched pieces, but have not yet check what year they are. You can always follow me on Instagram for latest stuff.

What a fantastic piece! Do these come along very often? Must be very rare to find one in such immaculate condition
@TimelessHistoryChannel6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Unfortunately, I do not. They are around from time to time, however, their condition are not the very best.

Hi, great watch, beautiful and the condition is amazing. Where do you buy the original parts? I need a crystal for my pie pan constellation.
@TimelessHistoryChannel6 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I have many original parts but they are for my own use only as I restore vintage Omega. If you are looking for crystal and other Omega parts, you can always try searching on www.ofrei.com

I'm just an amateur collector, but it's very interesting how the market undervalues these Seamaster 321s vs the Speedmaster 321s. Like how Ferraris shoot to the moon while Maseratis languish, even though they share the same engineering and engines.
@TimelessHistoryChannel3 жыл бұрын
That is the same if you compare a Tag Heuer with caliber 7750 at a few thousand dollar verses a Tissot with the same caliber 7750 but only for a couple hundred dollar.

Beautiful piece, may I ask what size the case is without crown? Thank you...

Should be 35mm. I made a video on this specific watch if you search up my other videos.

hey there - are 321 movements expensive to service / source parts?
@TimelessHistoryChannel5 жыл бұрын
Hi John, did you asked me this question on IG already? Sounds very familiar. haha. Well, most older chrono will be expensive to service regardless since there are a lot more work to service them. Parts for a 321 are very difficult to locate and usually very expensive as well. That's why, buy from someone who know their Omega and has connection.

Congratulations! No patina on such an old piece? Ive sent an Omega Geneve 1974 for service (first service ever as far as i know) that my father gave to me and i thought it was in good condition while the dial had some discoloration on the micro level. Nice video. Thank you. My regards.
