I love that you mentioned his eyes. I saw them last year in a small venue, front row and could literally touch the stage so my view was *chefs kiss*. The stage presence is really something else. His eyes are always so intense, it feels like he's looking at every single person in the crowd & wants us to feel how much he means every word he sings. I love OOR. I saw them last month performing at Wembley arena in London, and that was something else. The whole band was incredible, and Taka's vocals are insane live, so please continue to react to them, especially their live performances. Just saw them in Toronto last Friday--came up from Boston for it. Wonderful! That's a not-so-hidden request for "Wonder." Also, "Stand Out, Fit in", "Make it out Alive" Taka is not just a great singer, he's amazingly charismatic, a great performer. There were some funny moments while we heard them prepping to come on--the stage was dark, but we could hear folks moving about with the equipment, and some unknown person doing voice exercises that sounded like a bull elephant in a barrel. I'm assuming it was Taka, but it was so much lower than his usual singing voice, like a bass baritone. Anyone else here at Toronto and have any idea what we were hearing?

I wasn't there but usually before their shows a staff from their crew (not Taka) would do a soundcheck. You can see a video of it on YT by searching for "ONE OK ROCK sound check".

they did that in London too. It's staff. They have dedicated people to check the mic works properly, they have instrument technicians checking the members' instruments work as intended.
