my relatives live in Ukraine, but they are HUNGARIANS. they live there because their whole life is there. it was hungarian territory once, and they did not had the money and the resources to move, so they stayed, but they are HUNGARIANS whatever happens.... it hurts me that this lady says that those who are there in ukraine and once lived in hungary that they are identify as ukrainians... that is bs, everyone who got the military letter (i dont know the english word for it) they HAVE to go to war... and the ukrainians make minority to be in the front line and they know nothing about how to fight so they die easily, and the whole situation is useless, those death are useless.... poor people... but they would never idetify as ukrainians just because they fight in a useless war... they have to fight, they have no other option

Everyone around him is a multi billionaire while hospitals are closing, schools are dying, goverment protected kids get €3.8 worth of meals for a whole day. About a half percent, but still DEBT DECREASED without EU funds but with 0,9% of Hungary's GDP paid into EU treasury and defense spending achieved the NATO-regulation 2% to GDP. Oh, and kept Eu regulation restricting goverment subsidiaries to key economic elements. Besides, EU cohesion funds are targeted - about half of it must go to "less then economically optimal" projects. Don't believe a word this w*rm says. He does not represent the Hungarian people, since after winning the 2010 election with 2/3, his first step was to immediately amend the election law included in the constitution. The purpose of this was to be able to retain power as easily as possible, since instead of two rounds of elections, now only one round of elections will decide who governs Hungary. As a result, the elections were modified in such a way that even a fraction of the country's population can decide the fate of an entire country, since there is no lower limit to the number of votes. Electoral fraud, vote buying and manipulation of votes and dividing people in order to win the election are regular in elections. Orbán deliberately destroyed the checks and balances in the country, which can be seen in action in all areas of the administration. This is a pseudo-Christian, pseudo-nationalist, pseudo-conservative government and there is only one goal for them, to stay in power as long as possible, thereby stealing even more. Don't believe a word he says, because even if you ask, he's lying!!! I would say that he is the new Hitler, but the truth is that in some ways he is worse than him, because Hitler really did act for his people, even if he made many questionable decisions, but this man is just a petty thief who wants to manipulate everyone he wants, even you, dear viewer, and he can risk everything and everyone, even his own country, for power. I hope that it will soon go back to where it has always belonged, on the dustbin of politics.

As a Hungarian living in the UK, I'd say this must have been some sort of sarcastic joke. With all respect, I strongly disagree with you. His English used to be so much better when he was younger, although it's undoubtedly true that his generation is not the best when it comes to speaking English. Most of his younger ministers or colleagues in the cabinet have a much higher level of fluency in spoken English. Check out Zoltan Kovacs (International Spokesman of the Cabinet Office) or Peter Szijjarto (Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade). Compared to them, Mr Orban's performance was quite poor tbh :(

@@peterilleg2748 A few years ago, I attended job interviews in Budapest and international companies tested my language skills in both English and Spanish. Depending on the role, especially if you want a better one, you need to be fluent in at least two foreign languages. English only no longer counts. So when I found out that the Budapest mayor doesn’t speak any foreign languages, I was kinda shocked. Although it’s not uncommon that leaders have poorer skills than their employees. We’ve seen lots of examples for that. Especially among Hungarian politicians :)

That'd bring a total chaos to Europe. Mr Orban's government has completely ruined the checks & balances system in Hungary, institutionalised corruption is at record high, the country is more divided than ever. The only reason why he's still in power as he shredded the opposition in Hungary, so virtually there's no political alternative to Mr Orban. Putting all of these aside, I'd say his biggest mistake is this: He gave up principle-based politics to become a real opportunist. He tries to please both sides (East & West) as he thinks it's the best interest to the country. I think he's fatally wrong; you must choose sides when your neighbour is at war. I'm deeply ashamed of him :(

Everyone around him is a multi billionaire while hospitals are closing, schools are dying, goverment protected kids get €3.8 worth of meals for a whole day.
