In order to see how arrogant the West can be, Bulgaria does not have to go further than its neighbor Serbia and see what was done to Serbia, how the country was torn apart, destroyed, bombed, 40 tons of depleted uranium were dumped on it (315,000 Serbs died from cancer until now as a direct consequence of uranium), destroyed economy, and once Serbia was the largest economy in the Balkans.

It is interesting the perspective when you watch this kind of interview after almost a year and when, as I understand, he is not a prime minister any longer. What happened after 2008? - Georgia no longer has NATO aspirations, foreign troops left Georgia - Georgia had to stop the genocide in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, where Russian military bases now guarantee the safety of the population This is what Russians wanted and got in 5 days and this would have been exactly the same with Ukraine had US/UK not wanted a proxy war.

War in Ukraine can’t be compared with war in 2008 in Georgia. Rather the Abchasia and South Ossetia incidents before 2008. Why? 2008 war started when Georgia attacked in South Ossetia and tried to gain its territory back. Ukraine didn’t start anything military against Russia. War in Georgia was over before any sanctions could happen. Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, China are actively supporting the circumventions of the sanctions by helping Russia to import everything it needs over its borders, or even buying these things as a proxy for Russia. That’s not neutral, but rather selfish.
