Hello! I was wondering if yoi could very clearly clarify on how the blast rules work. We keep having multiple discussions about this in my group and I figured you would be a good person to ask. I have asked on the official discord but even then my group still argues about the wording.

This is how I treat it. Let's say you have a weapon with A2 blast (3), targeting a unit with 5 models. Roll two dice (one for each attack). each successful roll becomes 3 hits. So if you hit with both dice your opponent would have to make 6 defense rolls. Then the target player rolls a defense roll for each of those 6 hits. For each failure you take a wound and remove a model from the unit. However, blast can't cause more wounds per attack than there are models in the unit. An A2 blast (3) weapon hitting a target of 2 models twice would only cause a total of 4 hits. Let me know if that clears it up or if there's still confusion.
