DBZ itself is the result of pressure from the publishers. Ajura was originally going to end DBZ with the Namek arc, but was pressured into continuing. This is probably also the reason for the show's increasingly ridiculous spike in power levels.

I agree. It's like the Sasuke issue. Most people hate him for terrible reasons, but don't understand that he was meant to be hated. A good villain isn't a flat out hated villain, its a villain you "Love to Hate". Some people have good reason to hate Sasuke but most don't. In the end its all just personal preferences for all of us, but ultimately even if I don't agree with someones opinion doesn't make it a bad opinion. Sasuke is my favorite, but I mostly pity the guy.

but thinking of these main series and seeing how the art and animation has improved drastically over the years as well as the story, as you get further in the better it gets so keeping that in mind i am absolutely overwhelmed by the thought that nothing is gonna come close to competing with one piece in the future. you can respect the strawhats more and more after knowing what theyve been through as a crew, so later on its gonna have quite a lot more depth.

I agree with you that Luffy now is capable to deal with Logia users. The lone fact that someone is a Logia user means nothing in New World, as Caribou prooved. But the Logia Powers of the 3 (2) Admirals are only the tip of the iceberg. The also have extreme well developed fighting skills, Mastery of Haki, Mastery of Rokushiki, extreme experience, etc.

I watched alot of shows (not counting dbz, naruto, and bleach) I caught up to Episode 500-600 in around 1-3 months The story is really good, and i guess it really dosen't matter how popular or "strong" a character is to make the series good.

This Movie is going to be so epic just as "Strong world" for several reasons: Z was one of the former 3 admirals and can also use different types of Haki. He resigned and is now a pirate. He is also supposed to be the most powerfull warrior luffy has ever faced so far. this is the second movie to be made by Oda so this movie is just as "Strong world" real and coherent with what happens in the series. Most likely there will be another special episode like "episode 0"

people complains on first for cartoon style but they will complain when they found each chapter will have connection each other for each characters even side characters. They will say it was complicated so where is for kids come from. Even me, I have some memories for each vice admiral :3

It can be related with one of the yonkou, Kaido, because if you have seen XDrake in the new world, he meets with a cyborg who says that his captain is Kaido, and some people say that it can also be related with Franky's father because we dont know anything about his past. Sry for my bad english

yes, you just don't read it for each panels. One Piece is complicated for story when people believe it was for a kids. Even cover can give a hint about future characters

Yet Dragon Ball still stayed strong throughout, and after, its manga career. You can't deny its popularity. Dragon Ball is one of the main reasons people from North America know about anime/manga. Also if Akira Toriyama continued Dragon Ball, without a doubt it would of increased in popularity even more. The popularity at the time was so ridiculous that Toei made GT (though they failed). One Piece is a beautiful manga and so is Dragon Ball.
