Gaara gets washed by Crocodile. Here's why. Gaara DOES NOT HAVE SAND CONTROL. He uses magnetism to manipulate sand. This is stated in Gaara Hidden, where you get more in depth information on him and his abilities. There's a reason he carries sand in the gourd on his back and keeps it infused with his chakra. It's because this allows him to easily manipulate that limited amount of sand. He's also limited by what sand exists around him and whether or not that sand has magnetic poles (there are plenty of forms of sand that exist that are not magnetized) that can be affected by the jutsu he inherited from his father. On top of this, Gaara has a full on physical form that can be hurt. Crocodile on the hand, can freely control all forms of sand and send his sand attacks as far as across entire nations. He also cannot physically be harmed in any way by anyone who does not possess either haki or a bathtub full of water that they can carry around in their back pocket. Crocodile is not limited by what sand exists around him either, as he can freely create sand from his own body with no negative affects to his overall strength or ability. At the end of the day, Crocodile could just watch Gaara attack him and not even need to lift a finger to do anything because no physical attack Gaara uses would hurt him. And I forgot to mention that Gaara is also extremely limited by his use of chakra, which is how he manipulates sand in the first place. Chakra is a finite, exhaustable form of energy that is used in order for him to manipulate anything. That is not a limitation for Crocodile and his sand control.

Not only is it still going, but the crew decorates Tokyo Tower, has shops shut down to play it on TV for people, they have their own stores, food branding, clothing, toys, and their own place in the Universal Studios theme park. One Piece is consistently in the top 10 manga sold every week with multiple volumes, and it is outselling both Spider-Man and Batman comics - 2 characters that have been around and loved for over 80 years. On top of that, the anime is still going and has consistently maintained its popularity for 20 years. Something that is bad could never manage any of that. So does it get good 800 episodes in? Yes. But it was also good before that. If it wasn't it would not be around right now.

Honestly you can’t force someone to watch a show. It’s their loss, their preconceived notion it’s too long to get rid is ridiculous, it’s about the journey they are so many moments one piece builds upon, it’s essentially a world building show that’s one of the best and the best selling manga of all time. Every show has a beginning where the characters start of weaker. Up until almost episode 80 of shippuden meaning original naruto as well, only knew Rasengan and shadow clone jutsu. Dragonball before Dragonball Z goku didn’t have any power ups and only knew Kamehameha. Someone doesn’t want to watch a show they’ll find any excuse not to, it’s their loss though.

I've watched hundreds of anime and One Piece as a whole doesn't really impact me as much as a show with 24 episodes. And that should be perfectly fine with everyone. Even though I don't really like it that much I don't go around and say the show iz shit or something. Or go and tell people that are planning to watch it, that they should reconsider. No, I respect that everyone likes what they like and some will like One Piece while others will like Dragon Ball and Others maybe Bleach. It doesn't matter. If someone doesn't want to watch the series don't force him to, I remember watching this anime streamer and he was Binging the Big 3, and was done with Bleach and Naruto, and said that be doesn't really feel like watching another super long anime. Gaara would let Croc live due to his nature in the post-war period and end up being killed off by him. Gaara's power is limited by Shukaku. Croc isn't limited in the same way. It has been said before Naruto is probably the weakest characters when taken out of its world. However, power scaling isn't 1 for 1 .

if you assume gaara and crocodile were equal power levels based on their techniques alone crocodile would have an overwhelming advantage vs gaara, so long as gaara uses his sand to try and fight crocodile then gaara cannot possibly win just because of how crocodile functions, but if gaara realises that crocodile is weak to liquid then being a highly skilled ninja he should be able to defeat crocodile, especially if he uses shikaku, although it would be a difficult battle for gaara even if he knew his opponents weakness. Inversely if gaara is unable to discover crocodiles weakness then it would become a battle of endurance where non of gaaras attacks can seriously effect crocodile but gaara would gradually lose chakara even with shikaku empowering him, eventually crocodile would be able to get past gaaras absolute defense using wide area or omni directional attacks and once exposes gaara to a good attack crocodile has numerous fatal abilities to end the fight with. All of this is invalidated if gaara is capable of using any water jitsus since if he can then when his attacks do not work he would eventually cycle through differant types of attacks to find a weakness and as soon as he uses a water jitsu even a weak one crocodile would be fcked

They clearly explain the true nature of his devil fruit in chapter 1044 and goes on to say, " possessing a body with the properties of rubber." Luffy hadn't reached his full potential while he was fighting enel, so he was just a devil fruit user with a body made of rubber.

Assuming the two are on a mor for less equal power level, I'd give the win to Crocodile by a major margin. After all, the Sand-Sand fruit is a logia, and for Crocodile, he's trained with it enough taht the effect is baiscally automatic. Adding more sand to sand is just giving Crcodile more ammo, and he can basically make his own "sand" by draining the moisture out if other things, like Gaara can erode rocks and ground to make sand for himself. Thanks to his mostly Invulnerable status though, and immunity to sand anyways- Crcodule gets the win

The Battle at 1:40 , didn't come from the first arc of OP in 1999/2000 , it's a remake of the old episode (that's why the animation is so clean) from few years ago. 6:00 : Crocodile has a devil fruit type Logia (Elemental) so he became sand, Gara had a "Sand Monster" who used sand techniks in him but after he used only sand techniks. Gaara's body is not made of sand. With basic enemies, Crocodile can't be touched because he's made of sand.

The main diff between gases and crocodile is the fact gases will run out of chakra and then can be hit, crocodile can’t be hit unless with water or haki

Ppl who thinks gaara beating croc are dumb ppl. Gaara is not as strong as u think he is. "He can just control croc since he made of sands" no he can't. U think croc would let him do that? Croc is also able to manipulate sands and handle it much better than gaara did. If gaara came w water, he got a chance but not as much. Gaara is not as good in term of taijutsu. He cannot throw the water w sands considerin the sand will absorb the water. Also he manipulate sands w chakra which is finite. Sooner or later (if gaara able to stretch the fight to that point) he will get super exhausted as for croc, he'll stand still while laughing at gaara.

Outside of one piece doesn't matter how powerfull he/she is or what type of atack one does whether it is long ranged or short ranged the time it gets into his domain i.e., in the room he can counter it, dissolve it, cancel it. Because only way to counter LAW is haki and as far as I know nobody got haki outside of One Piece universe. One more thing I think you are not blind so I urge you read again what I have wrote above .

As much as I love Gaara, Garra can't touch him. Literally! You can talk about powers, you can talk about their achievements, but the single fact that all attacks don't work on Crocodile. Only armorment haki , weapons covered in liquids, and being submerged in seawater can damage Crocodile. Sure, let's say Gaara was able to control the sand that makes up Crocodile. He'll still wouldn't be able to hit him. At that point, Gaara is just stalling because his chakra would run out. Also, the version of Gaara that i am talking about is when the one tail got extracted out of him. He's still a formidable ninja without the one tails chakra. I can write an while essay on this but i won't. Gaara is one of my favorite naruto character, but i can admit that Crocodile could bet him.

Gaara vs Croc would be interesting as fuck. Croc IS sand so he can't be hurt unless Gaara throws him in water, but also because Gaara controls sand... That means he can control Croc.. Gaara just gonna put Croc in the gourd thing on his back and call it a day lol I think Croc would win tho just because he can suck the moisture out of anything he touches so one touch on Gaara and he'll become a skeleton, and overall has far less limitations compared to Gaara.
