Viví is with Sabo 100% he probably rescued her knowing she is Luffy's friend as it is speculated that Imu-Sama and the Gorousei is planning to kill her the last bloodline of Nefertari.

I can only see two options for where Vivi is. Either she was rescued by the rebels and is with them, or Imu's lackeys captured her (since Imu seemed to target her.) If she is with the rebels, then this would mean that the rebels have likely gained an ally from one of the original 20 royal lines who can now speak about the cruelty of the Celestial Dragons and support the rebels. If she was captured by the WG leaders, then this would lead to the Strawhats having a cause to fight the WG again because one of their crew is kept as a prisoner. (I seriously do not believe that Vivi could have been killed off screen, Oda would not do that, even if Imu was hinted of having chosen to have Vivi killed.)

There's no way you could kill vivi without cobra starting a lot of shit. Can't kill just cobra with vivi being alive because she could start up a lot of shit. They definitely wanted them both dead and they wanted to blame the revolutionaries. I'm guessing the fights there were very tame too, I doubt anyone even flexed a little bit until they went for the escape.

I'm kind of a fan of the idea that Vivi has been captured by the world nobles and its going to pull the straw hats in to square off against the navy before the eventual clash with blackbeard. The only thing i can't make fit with the idea though is why they would keep Vivi alive instead of just kill her outright. I'm sure oda could come up with a plot point that would make it work, like she has information about something related to one of the weapons they want to force her to give up etc.

My thoughts were Vivi seems to be one of Imu's target the last time he appears, so some kind of attack was made towards Vivi, and Cobra tried to defend her. Sabo somehow knows about this info and helps Vivi, fails to save Cobra and fled with Vivi somewhere. The info that the world government tries to hide was of Cobra's death by bribing Morgans which, he refuses to do so by making it a hit piece while adding his own twist, calling Sabo his killer. As for who was it that actually done Cobra in, i think the task was passed to Cipher Pol, maybe Rob Lucci. It's just what i though happened based on the circumstances happening in the manga though.

One part of the chapter that isn't getting a lot of attention is that we are at the pivotal moment for seeing whether or not Yamato is actually going to join the Straw Hats and with this chapter I would say she is not. Momo doesn't want Yamato to fight because she is (they all think) leaving soon, and with that big speech Ryokyugu just gave, Momo and the Samurai need to be able to protect Wano without her. So, this is the moment. If Momo and the Samurai can drive Aramaki away without her, she's going with Luffy. If she has to help them, she stays. And with her devil fruit being a guardian diety of Wano...it really seems liek she's probably staying. A member of the crew in absentia, probably, much like Vivi's been all this time.

I think there are other ways to look at it, though. For example, you could interpret it as Momo wanting the people of Wano to be the ones who defend Wano and not have to lean on outside allies anymore. I also think that, with the trajectory of Yamato's character arc so far, it would be a real fumble on Oda's part to leave her on Wano. Yamato's future isn't on Wano. Wano isn't Yamato's home. If Yamato continued to be shackled to this island, it would go against not only her entire character arc, but the themes of the story as a whole. And you bring up the fact that Yamato's Devil Fruit is a Mythical Zoan of one of Wano's guardian deities, but I think you can also interpret it as Momo wanting Wano to be defended not by gods, but by Wano's own people, to never be controlled or dependent on some external ruler or protector ever again.

@@zlothy3338 I'll be honest, I was 100% certain, for a very long time, that there was no way Yamato was going to be an official part of the crew. The way things have gone since Kaido's defeat has made me less certain of that than I was. I do still think it's more likely than not that she's going to stay on Wano to protect it until Momo opens the borders, as I said above, but either way, this is definitely the make or break moment. If she has to help fight Ryokugyu, she'll stay. If she doesn't, she'll go with Luffy.

Since Ace is dead and Ace & Luffy are brothers it would make sense she join Luffy’s crew. Also, her dream is to travel the world which she can do by being on Luffy’s crew. Luffy basically helped each of the Strawhat, and for Yamato he made her free. Luffy says he owes Yamato and she wants to be a on his crew. Idk why she would stay in Wano, that’s so dumb. I really hope she is a Strawhat because Yamato and Ace was close. But it’s pretty clear from the beginning she was going to be a Strawhat.

I could also think of the Possibility that CP0 attempted to kill Vivi on Orders of Imu, Cobra noticed that and literally "took the Bullet" for his Daughter, but after the RA`s battle against Issho and Aramaki, Sabo encountered Cobra in a half-dead state while on the Run and Cobra asked Sabo to get his Daughter to safety (taking her to Luffy) and deal the finishing blow to him instead of letting those pesky WG get that honor. And maybe Cobra shared the every tiny bit of Info, also everything on Pluton, with Sabo so Dragon can act on that.

One case of a good character turning out to be "evil" could be Mother Carmel, but she was secretly selling children from the start. I don't know if this counts as a good person becoming a bad person, but I think it's somewhat uncommon in One Piece.

This past chapter was a lot of fun. I have a thought that Cobra died instead of Vivi, which was a result of an assassination attempt by Im and the Five Elders. It would be easy to see Cobra noticing the attempt and stepping forward take the strike instead of his daughter. As for Vivi, I expect that she's in hiding down below in the Ryugu Kingdom, as Shirahoshi discovered her to be a kindred spirit and friend to Luffy, plus it would be a good use of the Hard-Shell Tower. Also, the fishmen could be the greatest allies to someone who is actively being hunted by Im, both with their tracking abilities and discreetly contact other allies, such as Luffy, to protect the princess and future queen.

I can see vivi trying to get away after her father died, and ran into Sabo as he was fighting to save Kuma, and in the mix of things, Kuma and Vivi where saved. It would make perfect sense, for the world to recognize Sabo as the one who killed cobra, to make sure he has nowhere to run in the world to get information on him to get vivi back. And I also think Vegapunk is the only person to give Kuma the mission to protect the straw hats for some reason. I'm still not counting out the fact Vegapunk is a revolutionary or agent for sword

I think Sabo might receive an higher bounty than Luffy. Sure, Luffy wields the Nika fruit, which the WG likely perceives as perhaps the single biggest threat to their power and authority, but Sabo now has this recognition around the entire world of being a liberator and a hero of the common class; Luffy does not have a connotation of that sort. Most people in the One Piece world likely mostly perceive Luffy as being an incredibly dangerous individual who, though he often fights for the exact same reasons as Sabo and other revolutionaries, is still decidedly a pirate in their eyes. Because of this, Sabo will likely be seen as the greater threat by the WG, because he has more influence. People look up to him, follow in his example, and rally under the revolutionary cause. This is a world-wide phenomenon. I also really like this framing of Savo as the 'Flame Emperor.' Luffy and Sabo are now portrayed as a duo of Emperors, fighting for the same cause, as inheritors of Ace's will, of the wills of Whiteard and Roger, and fighting to liberate the downtrodden. The specific notion of the two of them doing this as a duo, though largely only implied, is something I did not see coming, but I'm here for it.

I like to see the Reverie as Sabo’s own personal Ennies Lobby minus the ancient weapon plot line. Attacking a major world government base, in fact THE base in Marejois all in order to save a friend who’s been held captive by the World Govt, essentially officially declaring war and successfully saving said companion (Kuma) from the govt and gaining a lot of notoriety from it.

It would be so much more emotionally rewarding if and when Vivi reunites with the Straw Hats than when Luffy and Shanks meet up again. Sure Shanks and Luffy go back to Chapter One and Shanks even started Luffy on the pirate life but Vivi and Luffy made each other grow in a beautiful way and I would definitely tear up when they met again.

I think Vivi was just dropped off at Wano by Shanks. She is been missing after the reverie and we know Shanks was there speaking with the elders. So after this hoopla went down with Sabo “killing” Cobra Vivi was being targeted and then was smuggled out by Shanks after he found out she was close to Luffy. That’s why shanks did not stay in Wano and showed up a week after the fight. She also will have something to do with Pluton as the heir of Alabasta!

From what I got from the Reverie, Sabo and the Nefetari Family made a deal, although Cobra was going to be a target he wanted Sabo to agree to kidnap him with the Revolutionaries taking the credit and the stirrup would be enough chaos for them to be distracted to successfully rescue Kuma. They would in turn allow Vivi to reunite with Cobra by the end of series (In Public) to counter the World Government's propoganda. Sabo would then in turn become a massive figurehead in the Revolutionary Forces and spread the World Government's forces even wider than they already were. Remember, Akainu was complaining that our men were already dispersed too much at the moment and now that this incident occured along with the Wano incident about to drop a bombshell, both the Strawhats and the Revolutionaries have hidden truths as aces in their sleeves but Luffy may not realize it.

When the whole "Oh something happened to Sabo!" mystery was dropped after the Reverie arc, I began concocting my theories about what happened. Immediately, I began suspecting that Oda didn't kill Sabo again, so I began trying to imagine what would be the complete opposite of that twist. And that would be Sabo being a murderer. And who would Sabo kill in the Reverie? His former noble brother from the Goa Kingdom, Sterry. Moved by rage or perhaps a secret desire to either rule Goa as an evil noble or use his new ruling powers to aid the Revolutionaries, he would become its new King. And after this chapter...well, let's just say that I was all like "I FREAKING almost CALLED IT!!!"

If Vivi found out about Cobra's death before going missing. I'm not sure how she'd react, would she panic, fall to her knees and break down or she would be able to stay calm with the help of her guards and quickly leave the place to escape. If she could do that, if I were Vivi, I would run straight to Sabo since I know he is Luffy's brother and Vivi for sure knows this as well and escape with him. If she just broke down in tears after finding out about her father's death or she never even found out, I'm afraid to say that she is currently being kept captive by the Gorosei and Im-sama.

I've had a bit of a crackpot theory for a while now that Vivi would escape the Reverie and end up becoming a pirate herself, traveling around and building her crew from various other 'nakama' that the Straw Hats have met along their journey but ultimately left behind. Maybe Kureha comes with her to start since they reunited at the Reverie, and they go around recruiting other Straw Hat-adjacent characters like Bon Clay, Bellamy, or Heracles. Eventually she shows up at some pivotal moment in the story with this new crew, declaring herself captain of the "2nd Division" of the Straw Hat pirates.

I always thought that number of admirals are few against 4 yonkos, their commanders and other OP pirates and Suzuki confirm it. The 7 warlords were always under powered other then mihawk. As for sabo either he is falsely blamed or cobra himself wanted sabo to kill him for some higher purpose (after learning sabo and Luffy relationship) after they had a long and secret meeting and to make revolutionary even more famous and powerful.

The force of the Navy is not meant to be equal to all four Emperors, they only have to equal one. Since the Emperor's did not really work together that much, that makes it so if an Emperor were to attack the Navy the remainder of their forces would be taken out by someone else, making it a risk not worth taking. What I don't understand is why more people aren't entertaining the possibility that Sabo might be more of an extremist than we think and that he actually might have murdered Cobra deliberately, believing himself to be completely in the right. Sure, he might seem like a nice, friendly brother to Luffy, but isn't that what makes him all the more a potential threat? The greatest dangers are the ones that we refuse to acknowledge might exist. Of course, this concern may be completely unwarranted and this could very easily be just a plot by the World Government to frame the Revolutionaries and hurray if it is, but this Oda writing the plot. Oda. The man who misled millions of people for over two decades in thinking that Luffy was just a rubber man.

Up until now I was thinking that Luffy would end up joining another group like the red hair pirates or the revolutionary army. I still suspect that's a high possibility. But this chapter makes me realize how epic a story of the straw hats vs the world could be . The Straw Hats vs the world route could also make surprisingly great use of all the background allies that has been building up for the entire series.

@@bennett4789 throughout the series the government has been shown to do everything they possibly can to destroy what even has the remote possibility to get in their way. This includes a genocide of infants and causing the massacre and destruction of entire islands. The Straw Hats are a very small crew and the government in that world plays extremely dirty. I always just figured at the very least the straw hats would be joining sides with the revolutionary army. Imagine if end game includes the government wanting to destroy not only the straw hats but also their existence. If the government does want to destroy their existence than they'd need people to protect the places they left their mark on along the way and even might need to protect their home towns while they're probably going to be stuck fighting the government. Sure, you could say that the Dressrosa Arc should have been where I dropped the idea of the straw hats joining someone else durring endgame since they got so many followers at the end of that arc. But that arc also showed that not only did Luffy have strong connections already with Robin working for the revolutionary army durring the time skip and his father leading it, but then his brother also works with them? Yeah, it's hard not to think that luffy is going to be joining sides with them. As for the shanks crew, why not? Even with this chapter I highly doubt that shanks is going to turn into a malicious antagonist that the Straw Hats has to fear even if they end up fighting at some point. It would make too much sense for the narrative if Shanks started Luffys journey and ended up backing luffy durring the final arc. So yeah, I been assuming the Straw Hats would be joining at least one of them by endgame ever since CP9 and Robin's backstory showed how far the government can and will go to destroy potential threats.

i feel the WG definitely assassinated cobra in an attempt to insert a puppet leader into alabasta in response to luffy becoming an emperor. with luffy becoming an emperor that puts 2 of the founding kingdoms and a total of 5 kingdoms at Reverie that are all allied directly with luffy (Alabasta, Dressrosa, Sakura, Ryugu, and Prodence) which in the eyes of the WG gives him significant sway in the world

Just like always, these chapters right after a big arc are always my favorite, post-enies lobby, post-war, Zou, and now post-Wano. They always do the most work in expanding the worldbuilding and setting up mysteries and questions and hype to get paid off in the future. The big climactic arcs like Marineford and Wano would be far lesser if it wasnt for these breather arcs setting the ground work.

I think another thing to mention about the Revolutionaries fighting the Admirals is that, if common sense applies (keeping in mind that it may not since this is One Piece) Sabo is a hard counter to Green Bull. So not only we’re the Admirals not able to go all out. Sabo could make anything Green Bull tried irrelevant anyway meaning that the fight was probably more one sided than the chapter portrayed
