@@mind7235 One piece does not have as much filler percentage as Naruro, it's just the pacing of the canon episodes themselves is bad. Like you get a recap every start of the episode, and then openings and endings, and the unnecessary reaction faces and then some more flashbacks that take some time. That's why the episode wouldn't actually be called filler but it would be slow asf because it only covers one chapter or less. One pace just fixes this pacing problem. I haven't watched it but some people complain about One Pace and don't like it. Reading the manga is a better experience imo.

I gotta confess, I used to just hate on one piece comments months ago, but then I actually started OP and that show hits different. Sometimes the pacing isn’t that good, but naruto had a lot of flashbacks that wasn’t needed. Both anime’s I had to press skip a couple of seconds. And naruto had a lot more fillers, that I just skipped, cos it didn’t tie in with anything. But the hype and character/world building OP brings hits different. 1000+ ep seems daunting but I’m on 615 and I don’t want it too end low-key

Those who say Naruto over One Piece obviously haven't watched OP and the #1 excuse is because no one has time to watch 1000+ eps but naruto has about 700+ eps and the amount of fillers are absurd compared to One Piece. I will say that while OP started before Naruto, it didn't have the level of appeal or incredible action that Naruto kicked off early with. So it had a whole lot keeping their fans locked in from childhood than One Piece. It only took about 300 eps for OP to get to hype levels, so I understand.

For someone who's watched both One piece and Naruto I will still choose Naruto. For me Naruto has a lot more sentimental value to it compared to One Piece, and I repeat for me. I relate more to Naruto than I do to Luffy, and the Action scenes of Naruto are better too, which are a few things I can mention. With One Piece I ended up loving the Characters more than anything, the unique character design. My only issue is that One Piece kinda felt repetitive, like you know that when Luffy goes to a certain Island there's going to be a serious problem and Luffy's crew will save the day... but all in all I enjoy both Animes but Naruto is better for me
