Of course animation can't 100% copy that adding a movement. Comparing to s1, s2 is visibly weaker. And I'm not a fan of all these shiny elements like Genos hands. But overall I wouldn't dare to call s2 animation bad. Maybye it could be better, but for me that's not enough to hate it.

The running gag is that King is actually S-ranked because he kept getting credit for all of Saitama's kills - since Saitama wasn't a registered hero. He has absurdly good luck to just happen to be there when Saitama shows up, so maybe luck actually IS a superpower.

There's a theory that King's power is that he attracts monsters like bees to honey, and since Saitama always shows up to one-punch the monsters he and King are always in the same location which is why King's gets the credit. Who killed the monster, the dorky looking bald guy or the tall dude with the wicked scar and the intense pounding of his "King Engine"?

The recent character portraits news didn't filter through every outlet since then because there are quite a few people saying production is in trouble because it's taking so long to animate. Also 2025 just seems like a theoretical date, but I'm honestly convinced if they want the same level of quality as the teaser and to correct for some of the wonky stuff in S2, then it's going to take time.

The reason why nobody knows who saitama is is because King got credit for all of saitama's kills because it didn't turn into a slug fest there were no witnesses when saitama just one punched the monster and killed them but King was always around those same monsters so King got all of the credit of saitama's kills

I am still of the belief that King is what broke Saitama's limiter, and that he has some control over where Saitama goes subconsciously. Saitama is King's power, its how it is everywhere King needs it to be to defend himself, I mean King keeps getting credit for Saitama's kills because he just so happens to be present but if Saitama wasn't present King would be dead in situation after situation. Also its just the type of convoluted craziness I've come to expect out of anime.

People always find something to complain about. I think a lot of people are overly critical of season 2 and its undeserved. Season 1 does what it's intended to do by creating shock value and getting people invested with over the top animation and a lot of intensity. Season 2 does what it's supposed to by developing characters. I wouldn't say the animation is worse, just different. Season 1 is amazing but I actually enjoy the story beats in 2 much more, character exploration into Saitama and others goes way deeper.

S2 was enjoyable, but a noticeable drop in quality in terms of animation and sound design. The music was noticably quieter and less present. For animation they fell into a lot of old tropes of reusing frames, or doing split frame actions so you lost a lot of the fluidity the s1 fights had. the cgi on genos also wasn't done cleanly and looked very poor.

I feel like a baboon because I actually like season 2 more, I just really enjoyed the storylines they had and how they where setting up for the future, and it was so long between me watching season 1 and season 2 that I didn't even notice the difference in animation the first time around, also I'm a complete Anime casual so I don't really know much about animation etc. I watched my first anime sometime in the 80's (Kimagure Orange Road) and since then I don't think I've watched more than maybe 15 anime shows and a few anime movies. It's not that I don't like it, I love it whenever I get around to watching some, but I don't know, the shows that intrigue me are few and far between. I should give more of them a try, I'm 100% certain I'm missing out on a lot of really great shows, but I guess I'm just lazy when it comes to Anime :P

I did watch season two when it came out. I didn't hate it but it's a noticeable change, for sure. You can feel the studio knew they couldn't match the pure eye candy previous one made, but they tried to make up for it in other ways. Unfortunately, those ways included CG which not everyone is big on and they spend more time on the other heroes. Which I thought was fine because Saitama's too powerful for every episode.

Season 2 was a disappointment after Season 1, but it's not entirely because of the lower visual vibrance. The story slows down, but it happens in the manga, too. Season 2 is basically a prologue for Season 3 and 4 which, if they follow the manga, will be amazing. S2 picks up near the end as we get closer to the big arc kicking off fully. Plus, there are some nice character moments in S2 involving the other heroes.

I watched Season 2, the animation drop was incredible bad, but it kept very much of its humor and so stil made fun. Overall stil Season 2 felt like fillers, because i allready know from the Manga, that it is more a build up for everything happening hopefully in Season 3.

In my opinion season 2 is just mid, about 7/10. But it's not just because of the studio, there's also some other factors like the story itself. The anime follows the story drawn by Yusuke Murata, in the first arc (Boros arc) Murata still follow the story just like in the original manga by One, but in second arc (Garou arc) he started to put his own touch to the story and it's changing the pace of the original story. For example the martial art tournament when he introduced Siryuu who's not in the original story (even though later, One included him in his version) Second arc is longer than first arc, probably about 20-24 episodes if they adapt it to anime. But since the season 1 is so successful, they decided to make the second season immediately after the first one (it aired about a year after) when the source material (Murata's version) still hasn't finished drawing the second arc.

Season 2 is a lot better than season 1. Yea, its not as pretty, but story trumps animation most of the time. Its just hard to follow the eye candy of of the battle with Boros. This season has some genuine depth, and i hope we get season 3.
