I think you're blanketing a spectrum of people with one sentence. Yes they have more time and resources and they obviously will learn from their mistakes. But they also dealt a tremendous blow to the entire franchise with the second season so until this season overturns or reaffirms those opinions, there are plenty of valid criticisms and concerns. Also I think the main problem is people wanting season 1 again, which will never happen, JJK season 2 basically was the closest thing to having that dream team of animators return and MAPPA probably guaranteed they will never join such a big venture for a long time to come anymore.

I feel like S3 is just gonna be a build up to Garou vs. Saitama in S4; I don't think they're gonna actually show the fight (that'd be crazy if they do tho). But i'm still comfortable watching the sheer force of nature that is Garou building himself up into an absolute beast. If they DO show the fight tho....JESUS!!! For those who don't know, even though season 1 and season 2 were from different studios but they were made by the same animator team but season 2 has more animators than season 1 The reason season 2's animation isn't as good as season 1 is because they didn't put as much thought into it as they did in season 1 Same series compositon (Tomohiro Suzuki) Same Art Director (Shigemi Ikeda, Yukiko Maruyama) ETC... The entire reason for why season 1 was as mindblowing as it was, was because of its director, Shingo Natsume. He's got connections across the industry, and brought in pretty much an all-stars team of freelancers to elevate the season above and beyond. That was the key resource that JC Staff didn't have access to while making season 2. Granted... JC Staff aren't / weren't as experienced with high-intensity action series in general, which shows, but it was Natsume's personal investment in the project that made the biggest difference It's a good thing that they don't have Kodansha as a producer because they will be rushed Kodansha is known as a bad producer because they are the problem that makes Attack On Titan Season 4 not as good as previous seasons You guys are just slandering JC STAFF for no reason....

Not to mention they had Yutaka Nakamura to animate a lot of the fight scenes in season 1. In case S3 doesn't get to the Saitama vs. Garou fight (which I don't think it will), I kinda want the directors to reach out to some of the freelancers that worked on Boruto ep 65 - they NEED that extra talent if they're gonna try for such a massive-scale fight.

Plus they also hired a couple new animators reportedly the ones confirmed worked on Violet Evergarden fight scenes (search it up it looks insane) so im already gonna say its way better than s2 just with that info alone.

I mean, if I remember correctly, a huge amount of the issues with Season 2 stemmed from J.C Staff getting an unrealistically low amount of time to animate OPM S2. So, assuming they get enough time this time around, I'd wager they would be able to make it Railgun level or even better. Will it be season 1 level of animation? No, obviously not. That was a lightning in a bottle moment. When all the god tier freelance animators just happened to look for new work around the same time One Punch Man was starting production.

Art style is the same, animation is better, from what we see from royal ripper's sword Metal texture should be fixed now ( hope so ) genos was horrendous to look at on season 2. The sky atmosphere looks good which is gonna be really important in the last few fights ( fights right before the final fight ). I was worried it was gonna be like MHA'S Sky Looks promising to me, its not god tier animation like season 1 but good enough. My only concern is sound effects, if its anything like season 2 im gonna cry
