KMS is the real heart and soul of Detroit Techno. Saunderson & Jeff Mills were the ones who developed the sound into what it came to be in the 90s

Brilliant video once again. Always inspirational and informative. Can't pick a favourite synth sound, they all play their parts but that dirty moog 😉

typhon just kicks butt for this sound imo. Sits well in the mix and that detuning movement, is so sweet.

That's exactly what i was looking for. Owning a Virus Ti and considering my first piece of analog gear. Hades was also on my list.

great video! To me if a mix is such that bass plays a supporting and not leading part then mos def i found the best to be the Typhon by far. If it was a mix where the bass would open the filter and experiment then i think the OB6 would win. But of course only speaking for my self

More Reese! Can you get a neuro style with hardware?
@AnalogKitchen Жыл бұрын
Yes you could! Maybe you'd have to add a pedal and incoorporate some noise on the sound. But It can be done. I think the Minitaur can do it!

Great video, love your in depth explorations. Typhon seems awesome and also pretty versatile, I am considering getting one. Can you use only the left output to to use it in Mono instead of Stereo? Would free up a stereo channel on my mixer.
@AnalogKitchen2 жыл бұрын
I think you can. Still I’d consider not doing that as the stereo fx on the typhon are a big deal

my problem with reese bass is finding space to mix in the bass drum. i'm working on a track right now, messing around with compression/sidechain/ducking/lfotool/fuckkkkkk it's not cutting through like i want

Looks so, that the Moog37 is the big Winner, omg. 🤔 The Moog Mini looks only good for deep base. 🤔 My question is,can Moog37 the same deep base how Moog mini? 🤔 My wallet looks now crazy🤣
@AnalogKitchen2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it most def can. But the nature of the S37 might make it not worth just using it for Taurus type deep bass sounds. If you're multitracking and you need more to come from one synth, then yes. But they're different beasts alltogether. And the Minitaur is such an underestimated synth. Connect it to the software editor and see the extra features.... The tell me again what you think. Listen to this Minitaur sound I made and watch the crowd: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nmi3f4ypq9SjpqM

@@AnalogKitchen Hmm, I think the Minitaur is my fav. But so difficult to decide between it and the Subsequent … 🤔 Edit: Now I’m thinking S37 … lol
