Tom Saguto is great. Simple, affective approach to ball striking. Very intertaining videos. "Life is too short to play bad golf". T. Saguto

Thanks for the shoutout, and I'm glad you were feeling that Crispy KFC contact! If you watch your swing a 3:56, you'll see your head moving a few inches off the ball. Your goal is to keep your head centered with this tip. Contact will get even better if you can keep your head in place throughout the swing. Enjoy your day! Tom

I started following Tom Saguto Golf a couple years ago with his stack and tilt method and credit his information with me winning MVP for my golf league, dropping 6 strokes off my game and winning low gross the following year. I still have a lot of work to do but I like his simplification of the golf swing.

Ive been following Saguto for about a year now and yes his methods are very simple and he helps greatly with ball striking

I’ve mentioned Tom before, Andy. I’ve been following his simple one thought tips for a while, but he’s clearly a pro teacher, I like your real golfer interpretation of these tips. Seem more relatable, to me at least. Keep ‘em coming.

Awesome, since watching your channel I've pick up a lot of good tips and this one is top of the leader board in regards to the KISS principle. Thanks.

Tested this on the course my last two rounds and I have officially cemented this tip into my game. 90% of my iron shots were either dead straight or with a baby draw; the ones that didn’t were either intentionally shaped otherwise or when I lost focus and swung poorly (I didn’t try it with my driver since I currently don’t have it in the bag - gets me in too much trouble). As soon as my shoulder hits my chin, I hear a loud “SLOW DOWN” in my head which makes me remember to swing slow and smooth. And it virtually assures that my swing is in-to-out - it’s too hard to turn my hips too much when my arm is in the position - which is a GOOD thing. Clean, “crispy” contact. Now if I could just find a tip to fix my horrendous putting …

Nice video, my L shoulder thought is from Johnny Miller , just return your left shoulder to where it was at address , momentum of swing takes you to finish.

I started watching Saguto Golf recently and I combine this left shoulder thought with another of his videos about keeping the left arm straight and weight forward and I am striking my irons better than I ever have. Yes I still hit the occasional stinker whenever I lose concentration and start swaying or whatever but overall things are so much better and I am really enjoying my irons again.

Description sounds very much like my game but i get to opening up to soon so my biggest fault is slowing it down basically trying to hit it too hard, straighter left arm, shot almost a hundred took off 13 strokes next round

I moved a bit off the ball in my younger years but I was better able to return to impact then…now at 72 the ol’bones don’t move as well…I started S&T about 2 yrs ago and although not perfected by any means I found following weight left and shoulder down get me in that position just about every time and my ball striking has been vastly improved…very good video 😊

Yep! Many people kerfuffle about stack and tilt, until they follow the 10 words. Then they improve.
@starks1974 Жыл бұрын
Tom uses the KISS system which is the best for golfers. And just making sure you at minimum turn the shoulder down will always provide some good contact.

I'd be interested to know, out of all the tips you've showcased, which ones you still use and which ones you've abandoned? Because I'm sure you're still not adopting ALL of them! 🙂

Absolutely not, I am trying to work on removing the casting motionn from the top of my swing which has plagued me for years, so for the time being it is my only concentration, I filmed a video from Danny Maude which was his lesson with Pete Cowan which I would say is top of my list

I’ve been watching this channel lately and am wondering if you are paid to plug the other channels you reference, ie Seguto and Elliot Golf. No disrespect intended just wondering where you’re coming from.

My god we live in a cynical world 🙄 no idea where you are coming from
@joecook8352 Жыл бұрын
No he’s not getting paid by them he’s just sharing a tip he has seen on other channels and try’s them out for his own viewers benefit, sometimes putting a little of his own twist on them if he thinks it will help. Andy is a good fellow and unfortunately gets a lot of trolls commenting stupid stuff sometimes

I watched all of your videos, both "Testing the Tips" and "Average Golfer" and like them, but I just heard you take The Lord's name in vain; you should be ashamed and mortified. Unless I hear an apology, I will not be viewing any more of your videos. God Bless.

Thinking during a golf swing is like tension in the golf swing, it’s a killer of distance and direction. The best instructional videos that I have come across are those by Brian Sparks (Easiest Swing” ) method . Following his passing, this method lives on and taught by such individuals as Julian Mellor of (Proper Golfing) in the U.K., once you try this method you will no longer need to watch the positional instructions that flood KZbin.👍🇨🇦👨🦳
