About Cecilia:
Cecilia Blomdahl is originally from Sweden and moved to Svalbard 5.5 years ago. She works as a photographer and videographer in Longyearbyen, and with her social media channels, check her out on tiktok and instagram. Here on youtube she posts videos about her daily life in her cabin with her boyfriend and her dog Grim, living just outside of Longyearbyen. They are currently building a cabin extension, which is set to be finished in June. She was a very elegant and well dressed, well educated lady and I just adore her because she was so kind, gentle and generous to all the school kids. A teacher that genuinely enjoyed the company of children, a very rare thing. When you bring that kind of passion to your job it stops being work.

God, that PINK LIGHT!!!!! It's beautiful! The flooring is good. Not an overstatement, keeping with the theme. If you're feeling overwhelmed or antsy, remember you and Christofer are doing A LOT of the grunt work yourselves. Most people don't do this much. Those flooring boxes are awkward and heavy. Do you have plans to have more interviews with community people? I liked the video of the jewelry artist. People are so interesting. I'm really enjoying watching the progress of your home remodel. My husband and I have remodeled, added on, built homes over the years. Hey Guys, I am reliving the large house extension that we had done , and like your doing we completed a lot of the 'second fix' once the major first fix was completed. You have the finished vision in sight and I have nothing but complete admiration for your challenges, logistics and project management.🧡..... We could drive to one of many DIY stores locally for stuff, where you don't have that luxury. That said we encountered some major issues along the way and I'm sure we would find similar comparisons to laugh about...... it would take many cups of coffee to tell the tales. If we had a boat or a retreat, we would probably have disappeared and come back when all was done 🤔. Not long till your giving us the grand finished tour🌠 ....... Stay Safe as Always🧡

I love these videos. It's like we're hanging out on top of the World. The artic fascinates me. Dealing with the heat here near DC, these videos are refreshing. I will have questions in the future as I would like to vacation in Svalbard. How cold does it get there? I've been in under -10 F in Canada. It was bearable for me.
