Every piece of metal you pull out of the dumpster is one less piece we will have to mine out of the earth.

just stummbeled in a few days ago. I haven't seen a dumpster dive in years but I'm glad to see you are in a good enough area that people help out. Also thank you for making your videos humorous and educational all at the same time.

Great videos! I do Aldi and CVS nowadays. Dollar General was a good one for me but they closed in my town in February. I used to do the metal and electronics in the past. I am 53 female and now living in an apartment so I don't have a yard to pile up scrap anymore. You definitely have a large volume going and some great luck with finding copper wire. I've binge watched you recently. Good stuff!!!!
@LoveInTheDumpster9 ай бұрын
Oh man, if someone is binge watching I'm doing something right!! I wish I had more space to store stuff but I only have a 2 car garage right now. I'm planning on purchasing a 4-7k square foot building in the next 6-12 months though. For both my other business and the dumpster diving stuff. It's gonna be epic.

Well my suggestion if you have a big enough storage with all your wire a gaylord box and just stick your wire in there and I used to get for a full Gaylord of wire about between $500 to $1,000 depending on what was in The Wire in a gaylord box full

I’ve got about that much now. Gonna take it to the yard next week after my big garage clean out
@PeterGriswald7 ай бұрын
Late to this party but hope it helps ya. Acrylic is typically a more rigid plastic, whereas polycarbonate can be purchased in various flexible grades. Nevertheless, both plastics can be bent under heat if needed. Polycarbonate, too, is slightly more durable than acrylic and less likely to crack under stress.

That steel pipe is not cast iron! #1 HMS is 18 inches by 3 feet, some mills will take 4 feet.

I stand corrected. At my yard it's 4ft. All the scrap ends up going up to Canada to feed their steel mills.

Really disappointed to hear you $h!t on capitalism. When I've been listening to Jordan Peterson and Michael Schellenberger and Prager U really explain how capitalism has lifted millions out of poverty. For so many centuries, we were scraping and fighting for every last piece of food (Venezuela, North Korea) and we finally made it to the point where we can afford to throw food away before it goes bad and make somebody sick, and you're complaining about it. Good luck in the future and all that stuff. But I'm gonna be watching somebody else's dumpster diving channel from now on.
