A few years ago, I got into a relationship. I "fell in love", and this was "our song". We were inseparable, and we built a bond that I thought would last a lifetime because we were so close. That soon ended as we were constantly fighting, and are now split up. She's moved on, and I have as well (mostly). Yet this song still brings me back to those happy times we shared. I still remember her reaction when I said "this song reminds me of you". Just thought I'd share something somewhat relevant :)

When you love someone, you won't feel like you're giving anything away. You will be gaining the ONE person that you truly needed in your life all along. And that's something.
@mrleal772 жыл бұрын
Meh, most ppl find "the one" many times in their life lol
@Tessa3yearsAgo2 жыл бұрын
@@mrleal77 That's true. I have some beliefs about love that may be somewhat contradictory. On one hand, I believe in destiny and that two people can end up with each other because they're "meant to be." But I also believe in choices and free will. Our choices impact our greater path that we travel through life on, therefore those decisions ripple outward and determine who we meet and the circumstances in which we come to know them. When the circumstances are favorable, that may lead us to feel we've found the "one" person for us. There are so many reasons why that particular person may end up not being the one. That brings me to another one of my beliefs: that some people are meant to be in our lives only for a season. They may not become the one single person we end up with, but having them in our lives for a time may shape us and our life in very important ways, or may even lead us to our actual soul mate. My original comment was referring to love between two people, in general. Not necessarily the one and only hypothetical person that they're going to be with forever, but the person that is in their life right now.. maybe the one has been several different people, but the concept is the same. Loving them supercedes any sacrifice that may be made.

The mind is what gives life structure and direction, but the heart is what breathes love and hope into us. Without listening to the heart, we live a soulless, unfulfilled life. But, then again, ignoring what the mind is telling us can result in absolute chaos. Walking the heart and mind's ultra thin line requires perfect balance.... and we all have unsteady days... we fall.. we pick ourselves back up... hopefully, we learn from it... and we go on... we're human, not perfect... every last one of us.

This song can be applied to a lot of situations and that’s what makes it so masterful. I know it’s more of a love song. But for me having lost about 5 people in like 7 years I constantly think about them, and how I wish I could of done something to keep them alive and thriving. My moms passing is almost two years now. And the lyrics, “Even though I know, I don’t want to know.” It hits me to the core of my being because it doesn’t seem so long ago that I saw her smile, or heard her laugh. But now all those memories only exist in my mind and in the corners of time. I can never get used to losing anyone. It’s hard to accept.

I remember when I was about 8 or 9, my dad made me learn this song, and I hated it at first. But when I knew the lyrics, I really enjoyed it :)

Joey Becker he was murdered by his wife's ex boyfriend from wcw most likely. He's the one who put his wife and benoit in a story line in late 90s where they would be messing around.... The storyline came to life as Chris and her grew close and she left that guy for Chris. For years Chris and his wife told his in-laws they felt like they were being followed. Same year Eddie Guerrero and Chris benoit were both champions at wrestlemania they both die. That was their last wrestlemania and as you notice they both celebrated that night too end of show. I believe the ladies ex got drunk and killed Chris and his family and deemed it a suicide. No different than how Kurt was done really. Just a different scenario

Ummm.....no.....try bret "hitman" hart as the most talented technical wrestler of all time. Benoit a little further down the line but he is an honorable mention, he trained in the hart family dungeon so he should of been with that training background....
