my 12v has 300k miles i just did the kdp it was almost completely out! i did notice these bolts and did them when i was in there.

The KDP plagued all 12 valves from 89-98. The first generation of the 24 valve (98.5-02) also could suffer from the KDP but that is more rare.

Whoever has to remove those bolts that have red locktite on them is gonna hate you. I would use blue locktite.

Hmmm… I had a 12valve with over 500k miles on it and never had a problem with it…. The piece of shit was rock solid like the morning wood 🪵 😁👌🏾
