Hi folks. I am a subscriber who stays in Dumfries but was brought up in Castle Douglas. Loved your video and the Great Wall is my preferred Chinese there. Many shops do close on a Monday there. The cattle market near where you were parked would've been worth a visit on market day seeing the sheep or cows being sold. Spent most of my youth down at the loch catching fish and playing as a kid.
