Dear Erik, I have been watching your advetures in renewing the old ways to make home and hearth. Also I appreciate when you share the animals around you and when you bathe in icey cold water! That is impressive. It is like wstching a wood sprite living in a fantasy forest! I enjoy it so much! I used to do such work in my early adultohood and watching you brings the joy of self reliance and the benefit of solitude back. I had a major assault on my body in a simple surgery gone horribly wrong with flesh eatig bacteria. My background of being hard driving is the only way I survived. I was not expected to live two weeks and it has been since 2005. I almost feel I can enjoy the feeling of lying back on the animal skin you use to watch the night fall. Your treks trough the snow on your skis with your unexpectedly cute and small companion dog reminds me of something I loved from childhood. I have no idea if in your sphere of knowledge you would know this, but it is an annual holiday classic most American children and adults enjoy. It is the stop action puppetry of Rankin And Bass's Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. At one point the group leaving "Santa's village to find their own way in the world" are met with a prospector looking for gold and sliver in the north. He has a dog team made up of a poodle, a few dogs like yours and even smaller ones like chijuajuas! It's the funniest thing to see and you sweet little red doggie trotting along at your overland skiing looked exactly like Yukon Cornelias's dog team! Thank you for hte joy of relase in watching you respect and enjoy nature while making responsible use of its bounty to live on the land. I hiope you can realize how uplifting this program you created is for so many people. Thank you for your drive, and ambition and for sharing it with the world. I hope you are able to gain some financial support with your ineraction on You Tube. You most certainly deserve it! Sometimes we hear a call from nature. When I was 18 years old I ventured out alone with only a backpack full of simple hand tools to actualize my dream. Build my own traditional off grid log cabin by hand from the materials of the Swedish forest. Just like my forefathers did. Please share this video with someone who would enjoying it after 2020. edit: Tractor is a Ferguson TE20 from 1946, they were wildly used to move timber. In 1950 the first chainsaws came to Sweden but they were too big and heavy to be practical. I didn't want to take down every closest tree. So by using the tractor I could haul a few trees from further away, about 150 meters. I would have loved to use a horse but don't have one. yet.. I still had to drag most logs by hand because of the terrain. My business contact: erik@delkatalents.com Instagram: @erikgrankvist_
