Super Light Bike. Flickable as he says. I personally didn't like the riding position because I'm use to my cruiser. Very cool bike!!!

Yea, used to love the riding position on that cruiser. Started to hurt my back after awhile, though.

There is a cool TEC 'Fang' exhaust that sounds super sweet for the Trident. It's pretty affordable too. Nice bike! 👍

Yea, I like that one, too. I’m sure I’ll get something eventually. 😂 Thanks for the compliment; I really like this bike.

Great review! How do you think this bike would be for 3-5 hour rides vs the bonneville?
@motomaverickusa3 күн бұрын
I’ve done a couple ~5 hour rides on it and it’s totally doable. I can’t imagine the Bonnie would be a ton better, unless you put a windscreen on it. The Trident riding position is slightly more forward, so it just boils down to preference.

Hey, I have the identical bike in white, a 2022. I've only had it since October. Looking into mods (especially the pointless mirrors, lol) and nice to see the modifications you have done.

Thanks; it’s a great bike and I love it. What are some other mods you’re looking into?

@@motomaverickusa Remove those passenger pillions as you have, and a flyscreen.

@ArtHistoryNstuff332 I’m curious to know if it makes a difference with the wind. I don’t see how it could m, being so small, but I’ve been wrong before!

Have you ever ridden a MT-09? I wonder how similar the riding position is cuz I really like the Trident but I really don't like how awkward that little lean forward was for me. Im strongly considering the 2024 MT-09 and think it has everything im looking for but ive yet to sit on it which will be the deciding factor, seat position.

I did sit on an older model awhile back, but I can’t remember the riding position on it. I will say that can be adjusted with bar risers, or different handlebars altogether. As someone that rode a cruiser for years, then the Tiger, and now this, the sportier position did take a little bit to get used to. I have grown to like it, though, or at least my back has. 😂

@motomaverickusa Yeah ive been riding Harleys for years now so these style bikes are definitely going to be a big adjustment for me to get used to but I really just want something lightweight, faster and easier on my hips and tailbone. I've always preferred mini ape and mid controls setup on cruisers but I just want something much lighter, smoother, sportier, more convenient and comfortable now.

I’d definitely say the naked bike category would fit what you’re looking for. I really liked the styling of the Trident, which is why I went this direction. They will all be modifiable to fit your exact specs, but my suggestion would be to find the one that meets your power needs (this 660 is plenty for around town) and matches your aesthetics. I think the Trident looks incredible, fits that retro roadster vibe.

Hi where did you get the grab rail from. Thanks
@motomaverickusa5 күн бұрын
It’s the Hepco and Becker Passenger Grab Rail. I bought mine from MotoMachines. www.motomachines.com/hepco-becker-passenger-grab-rail-triumph-trident-660?srsltid=AfmBOorU1dvuaT1jPbCVYAej_3QaFUooP2gHi7e7ExPWmV6uJ5AgRNrs

Just recently purchased the DJI Osmo Action 4 and I really like it over my old GoPros. I shoot at 4k/60 with 1/120 ISO and a ND8 filter in DLOG for color grading in post. I’ve been thinking about doing a video on my setup now that I’m getting it more dialed in.

i hear quickshifter is a must
@motomaverickusa5 күн бұрын
Yea, I’ve heard the same thing. I might be in the minority, but I actually like manually shifting. Same reason one of my cages is also a manual. Now, with that being said, I’ve never tried the quick shifter, so I can’t say for sure if I’d really like it or not.
