Gorgeous, I was out there once loved it. In the 60s we had a virgin elm forest. Unfortunately Dutch elm got it. But we had the largest elm in Wisconsin. It took 5 grown men finger tip to finger tip to reach around it. It was flooded half the year. It was like a magical paradise. We would canoe around the trees and listen to hundreds of geese and ducks and cranes and frogs. When my son was young we took him out there when we realized he didn't want to go. He pointed at the marsh and whispered Ewoks. So cute

I have to use others’ words because they describe it best - your joy is always so fun to watch and the serene way you showed your hike...perfect. I do have to admit that at first I thought Roodle was molting, then realized that’s just how you trimmed him. Haha. Love the walking stick.

Thank you, Jody! The Redwoods exceeded our expectations and we had fun sharing our experience. Thank you for your kindness. Yep, Roodle got a lion cut and it's slightly botched 😂 We decided never to cut his facial hair again. I hope he forgives us. 😜

one adVANture at a time LOL. Too funny. It’s just hair. It’ll grow back. That’s what I tell myself after a bad cut. 🤣

I know right! When anyone asks us what to see in California first we always agree on the Redwoods first.
