Grappling is like chess you stack up a bunch of small positional wins to eventually go for the kills. Mma is more chaotic even when it hits the floor if you're on bottom. Just have to hold on for dear life so they dont posture up and split ur face open.

@@MantasXVIII yes, and every jiu jitsu practitioner should regularly practice from Standing position when rolling, and learn at least three solid take down wrestling techniques, and if all else fails, or the person is way bigger, some solid guard pulls with a strategy of getting to the back or the mount from the bottom position

You start a fight knowing how you’re going to win, not based how good you look. It’s easy to defend kicks if you position yourself correctly, and you can’t be punched. And if they jump on you, they’re going to lose a leg or an arm.
