Your vlogs are always so full of interesting things to hear and see that sometimes I miss the obvious. It wasn't until Pete went down in the Watford Locks that I realised you only have 2 solar panels on the roof. Are they 'high power' (non-technical term 🙄 meaning do you rely on a generator or are they strong enough to run all you need?). Your plans for the rest of 2024 look great - here's hoping the weather and the gods are on your side this year. Already looking forward to your next vlog; and seeing you enjoy Sunday lunch 🤞. Cuddles to Hamish and Poppy, and safe cruising to you. ❤

Always lovely to hear that you are enjoying the videos Jill! Gloucester is certainly worth going to. As to going down to Sharpness…….hmmm….. unless you are going to go across to Bristol which really requires a pilot, it isn’t that interesting. The canal is straight as with nothing on the way and Sharpness was very underwhelming. The trip across the River Severn to Bristol would be brave but a great achievement🤪🤪
@onedaymoreaboard7 ай бұрын
We are not up for being that brave to go across to Bristol having seen a few videos! A bit like when we went down to Boston but decided against crossing The Wash! We’ve heard such mixed reviews about the Gloucester & Sharpness so the jury is still out on whether we go down that far or just turn at Gloucester. I think time will be a factor when we actually get down there. It’s good to hear other people’s experiences though, thanks for watching 😊
