Regarding how long videos should be....it really depends on the person recording. I've seen videos by people who don't realize they are boring, those people I can't take much more than 15 minutes. I've seen people who are entertaining, engaging and share their experience and knowledge, I could easily enjoy an hour video. I search out your videos that are 30 minutes or more. I don't mind watching them many times. You are enjoyable to watch, you are not boring and you have a variety of experiences and places you go.

Hi Dan, I personally like to watch 20-30 minute videos. Any longer I’d prefer part 1 & part 2 etc etc videos. Shorter videos also allow the viewer to fit a quick video into their busy lives.

The first one I watched was the 5 items in your pocket survival challenge. You had a orange plastic survival bivvy bag. Laughed my socks off and watched every since, always entertaining. I like how you do a garden review specific to a piece of equipment maybe 15-20 mins then like this type of video, 30-45 mins is about right.

I dont mind listening to you, us Yorkshire folk have the best accent 🤣 so you can waffle on as much as you like! You keep it real and that's what I like about watching you and your trips. I'm with you as long as it holds my interest I can watch whatever length, be it 20 mins or a few hours (I sometimes fall asleep on the longer ones but I pick up where I left off when its KZbin time!) 😊

I prefer videos around 15-20 minutes. Usually because I don't have a lot of time. But when I do get the time. And think time doesn't really matter. As long as the content is good 👍 and I'm originally from Liverpool. Now live in Ireland. And your accent is easy to understand.

Followed you for the past few years. Always enjoy your content Dan. 👍 As to videos, the longer the better. Some I follow (and you wait a week or two) post videos that are often 10 minutes or less, which always leaves me wondering 'why bother'. Far too short. Bushman and Blue (Al) is one who can post a video that's an hour long (or more). As long as the content is enjoyable then it's worth watching (especially when you've been waiting in anticipation for the next episode). Thanks for bringing us along on your adventures. Keep it coming. 😊

Yes it's been a fair journey with EW but one really worth having Dan. The thing about vlogs with me is I watch several that go over the hour and many shorter ones but it's the interesting content you make in them that holds the interest the unknown factors that you bring in makes time fly by. If you have something to say and show by all means load it in as it adds to the entertainment factor. Thanks for sharing mate. Bushyboy Oz.

Still here lad. I don't get to watch every single video but most. I am thinking on one o' these tents. Dan with his new hairstyle and trimmed beard. Get thee int woods lad. I'm just using a sleeping bag liner at the moment - I sleep very hot. I tend to watch videos of varying length - but I think passed 45 minutes I'll watch only if I'm into it. The reason many people like a quiet video is that you feel you're there with them, you can see what's going on - there's no imaginary music source and we know we go somewhere there's just the sounds of nature and that's the appeal to that. As for thee accent- thee's not that broad lad...lol. Colin in Scotland he's a strong accent and when he's had a brew or two gets interesting. I can understand it as my backgrounds Scots.

yes I have been here since the beginning, but back then I was still new to you tube and didn't really know about thumb up or down, or even how to save to watch later, I guessing I probably followed this channel for a year or so. Funny thing is that I had a bit of a time understanding your speech you being a Brit. and me being from the west coast of the U.S.. but I got better by watching other you tubers from the UK. as for how long a video is I noticed that if it is about where they are it's about 15 to 20 mins. and if it's about everything it's about 30 to 60 mins. and or split into two videos. Time I spend on a video depends on the quality of the content. I am just one of many however I personally don't get into the reviews and I don't do live streams I would rather wait till after the live stream is over in the video is posted. If it is a good solid camping or in particular stealth and roundabout camping I will sit and watch one of them that's an hour long. Everybody's different just have to manage your content and time to try to appease everybody.
