It was the first key of the week and 19 is on the higher end of keys we have pushed so far, we definitely need to work on learning boss mechanics more and actually using what we learn. I got confused during the Rezan fight because i was trying to banish the incorporeal but it was already mind controlled and I didn't know that at the time so i was spamming banish which is why i got feared and devoured mainly. I actually started watching your videos around when SOD came out and made we want to try dragon flight out with my friends, love the content keep it up.

@@heythereguysitsMetro I think the warrior died to saurids not being controlled at all, he was able to release before the boss was engaged but that put him into combat so he couldn't mount, he ran down the right side, aggro'd the stalker and brought him down with him cause he had no choice. The tank obviously f*d up with his handling of the Saurids (Should have put damage on both sets) and then another mistake with how he jumped down. I play a DH tank so I'm spoiled with multiple sigils to start threat and wings to glide down, but still you need to be aware of your party when doing quick-start on rezan with adds.

I had to do a double lookover at the affixes when I saw it was fortified and the boss was taking that long to die on fortified it originally made me think its tyrannical. I haven't played BDK a lot but I could tell the one in the disband and who left doesn't know what his cd's even do, easy to spot when you see him use anti magical damage cds on physical damage. Really odd decision to leave after Rezan dies considering Atal is a forgiving timer and its only a 19 key so they can still +1 the key.

Someone did this last night to be, on a 19 as well, with all the Saurids and the stalker and a few raptors on pull on Rezan. Granted someone butt pulled all that stuff but I was able to somehow keep the group alive with only one death. Best part was Rezan was held in the sanguine from the stalker for a bit so it took like over 4 minutes to kill - was only lucky the group held together because we didn't wipe. Way to make the healer sweat at the start :'C Ended up not timing it in the end (Spiders lol) , but surprisingly everyone was pretty chill about it, a rarity tbh.

As you said, people doing keys way higher than they're physically able to, with the exception of the Pally who was doing OK. It's kind of lucky they wiped on that first boss, saved themselves time in the long run. Can you imagine if they'd have gotten all the way to Yazma? They would have spent a good hour wiping and then given up.

I have noticed that about every fourth key I make the mistake of picking someone who has probably got their ilvl and score from purchasing multiple carries. I generally don’t mind people playing the game, farming gold and using that gold for a carry, but it frustrates me when they think, because they have the score and the gear, they are ready for certain keys.

I've gone up to roughly that key range on most of my alts ('cause I cba climbing higher when I already do that on my main) and 23-24 keys are really smooth like 90% of the time if you just invite people with high rio mains doing keys on their alts. If you just look at that character's rio or, god forbid, their item level, then good riddance. Both of those numbers are close to meaningless. Rio is very free up to like at least 3k, and item level just shows absolutely nothing, 'cause the game showers people with item level and easy upgrading. Like this Watchmegrip guy, for example. He's 479 item level in PvE, but the way he plays the game, he might as well be like 430. EDIT: Funnily enough, this Watchmegrip guy did five +20 Atal'Dazar runs after this video came out. Guess it really hit him hard and he had something to prove.

i had a healer insta leave an 18 fall that i was doing on pally, and the guy was from rag. like he hit ready when i did the ready check then as soon as the key starts the guy guys offline but i switched to holy and we ended up 4 manning it. think what happened was i declined their alt so they swapped to their healer just to hunt down my key to insta go offline

I don't think if you run on the very left of the right side you ever have any chance of pulling that stalker, then again if you are Billy and mis click dismount in the middle of the stairs and then proceed to just walk there, then yes - there might be a chance of pulling the stalkers. But I don't think that was Billy's day. But you know...given that Billy gets soloed by the stalker and that it takes VERY long for the stalker to join the fight, I would imagine the stalker actually dropped combat when Billy died the first time. I think Billy might have released, mounted and unintetionally pulled the stalker again by going right again and riding past it and that is why the stalker comes in that late. Would be pretty funny if true, maybe Billy will be able to confirm.

I don't do mythics, but it would seem to me that by the time you're at +19 you really ought to know how the dungeon mechanics work. Is there really an excuse not to? The stalker patrols between the platforms going from the honor guard on the right to about the same spot on the left side I believe, It's possible that the warrior pulled the stalker when running back I'm pretty sure normally it's far enough away that it shouldn't matter which side you go down at start it shouldn't get pulled however it's possible I'm wrong it's also possible the Stalker is what killed the Warrior before the first Rezan attempt xD Before watching the full second pull my thoughts on the warriors first pursuit fail was that he was either expecting the BoP or he may have been trying to leap towards the tank to take it through that path as taking it through the path he was on would have spawned at least 3 raptors where as going like the tank later did doesn't spawn raptors and giving him the benefit of the doubt maybe he "knows" that warriors can ignore the fear but doesn't know that to do that you have to have berserker rage up (looking at the ability on wowhead talent tree it does cleanse and give immunity to fear for 6 sec) the warlock has no excuse tho xD he just fucked up To be fair to the tank the reanimated raptors stack a bleed along with the boss that can overwhelm even my fully geared vdh on 19 if the stacks get high enough also looking at the talent calculator on wowhead Anti-magig zone says it absorbs "spell damage" where as Anti-magic Shell says it absorbs "magic damage" so it might be providing him some dr but I don't think it's helping him cause the biggest threat is the bleed and I don't think AMZ absorbs from dots already on you :P. Also he leaves the key so fuck him he's stupid. His comment after leaving are to show that he doesn't care cause he's so cool and above this. He's just being a jerk and deflecting instead of admitting his faults and learning from his mistakes.

​@@heythereguysitsMetro It def goes up both stairs I've spotted it with spectral sight coming down the left stairs on pulls where Rezan went really fast (and pulled it accidentally on pulls where I kited a bit too hard for sanguine xD) Most likely the warrior pulls/repulls it after his death but because he's mounted/running he goes faster than the stealthed mob and just goes to the boss where the healer pulls the aggro off the warrior by healing cause healer aggro op and since healer is standing behind the 0 awareness Tank (seriously rule nr.1 protect your healer!!) he dies. Pretty sure the add wouldn't restealth unless it leaves combat and resets and I don't see it running at the healer so I assume it was pulled in stealth xD

@@heythereguysitsMetro I've had keys where dino took too long or was too fast so the add was at the other stairs when we got back up, Usually the time it takes to kill Rezan (and even if you pull the two dino packs and fearing bird before going back) the add should usually be around the stairs on the left from your pov (right from entrance pov) because he's stealthed he's going slower than a regular pat and thus it takes im about 2/3 minutes to complete full pat.. now if you're not doing Rezan first its 100% coincidence

I have seen so many players getting eaten by rezan because they are getting the pursuit and had to run through rezan to get to the right side of the boss, or they just runned to the side where you get a lot of raptors. It is 10 times easier to just stay on the inside, between the 2 pillars where you want to ping pong. Outside of tank damage with the bleed this boss has 0 difficulty. Why add some by taking risks not getting through the boss fast enough when you get the pursuit?

I think people see others do something in a key and don't consider why. The pull jumping down - you highlighted about how you D&D and do so at a certain spot to ensure you have aggro when you land due to your experience, a dps looking sees "oh tank jumps down there and pulls that pack" Later when they want to tank on their alt they go "I jump here and aggro this pack and it will be fine" and mostly it is with no thought more than that. Than this happens. I genuinely think its monkey see monkey do for a lot of bad behaviours or just situations like that

I tried to ask the warrior when he came into my stream but he didn't have any insight in this. Some viewers suggested he probably aggros it a second time on the way back down without realizing.

I’ve notice the majority of bad pug tanks have been blood dks. Also how the hell is the warrior and warlock running a 19 and not know the fight?

Honestly because getting feared just doesn't matter. It looks really really bad but doesn't actually do anything. Unless you have a horrible tank who can't survive the raptors.

I know AD is a pretty free key but if it's already a shitshow on rezan chances are it's going to be a shitshow on every bosses. And I dont blame the tank for leaving there. That's too much stress for a +19 key

Nope, you can check out the video from a few weeks ago. They have four pulls on rezan and still upgrade the key. Only bad players leave like this. And that's pretty obvious when you look at that guy's attitude plus his progression.

@@heythereguysitsMetroI mean I wont condone the guys attitude after he left. I think it's better to just leave and just dont bother responding. But as far as my own experience I've been runs where rezan was horrible to a point. Volkal was horrible, we were in that boss for 5 mins on a fort week. Priestess was horrible, people dont know how to soak even if you tell them to and/or kill the adds fast even if I put the boss on top of the add w/ me throwing stuns and grips as a dh and Yazma well let's just say I solo that boss from 50% because I gave up on my group. And this is a +20 key where people should be aware of the mechanics by then

A lot of people who push 19/20 keys this late into the season are casuals carried by inflated item level, desperately refusing to learn anything about the game or mechanics, chronically blaming every bad thing that happens to them in the game on toxic elitsts, all while boasting an ego bigger than that of a world first player. You'd think a combo like this is supposed to be, statistically speaking, extremely unlikely, but situations like this seem to happen in every other low key I join when gearing alts. 😮‍💨

Clearly there were a lot of issues in this group. Warrior and warlock being feared, the healer not healing/doing damage. The biggest thing though is the DK clearly not knowing how to tank. Tanks are so strong right now in keeping themselves alive, especially on that low of a key. Sometimes on bosses or pulls, the healer has to work together with the tank instead of the tank soloing the fight. However, the healer cannot make up for the tanks poor play if they just want to die. I wish they had healing meters, so I could see who was more at fault, but on a 19 fort Rezan, it's probably bloods fault. If I was the healer in that key, then I'd be glad that the dk left. I'd rather try again and find a different group that can easily double or triple upgrade that key on an 18.
