i have just been all over today. from john deere to the shop floor. 7530 is now totally done and i looked at a 7250R and the 6210R is gone! its disappointing but you can't win them all. anyway life goes on and thats the way it is. im currently looking to England and Europe for tractors. a good trip to the other side of the pond would do me some good anyway. money can be saved by doing things this way even though the resale on them is much less over here i do not care im using this stuff not reselling it.

My old boss has a 7920 ivt fitted with Front pto/linkage and Deere loader. Very nice versatile tractor I did the winter sowing with it, got put on triple mowers for hay/silage season, did the corn planting and at the end of the year/harvest it did the loader work for carting hay/straw.

I picked up a 2016 6215R in October of 2019 with a loader and IVT that only had 2100 hours on it for $94k. Not to mention it had new tires all the way around. Just find a private seller, these dealerships are selling way to high!!! A similar tractor at a dealership near me was selling for $130!!!! They want to take an arm and a leg from farmers these days.

Decades ago I got a service route with Coca-Cola that paid weekly salary and not hourly. Had to fill drink machines and deliver the old style 5 gallon syrup jugs and CO2 bottles. Got trained and was told I could start when I wanted and organize the route in a better way if I wanted as well. Started at 5 in the morning and was done by 10 most days. Boss thought I was skipping stops so they followed me for 2 weeks. I was doing my job so ended up getting a small raise for doing it so well. Can't recall the actual number of cans but my daily average was 4 pallets of cans a day and around 60 syrup jugs. Not a great job so after a few months went back into the USN for another 4 years.

We have a few 7xxxR tractors with loaders around here. They seem to get around pretty good with loaders on them. My neighbor to the north of me uses a 7235R with a Deere loader for packing silage and feed cattle everyday out of the bunker silo. Feed wagon is on a 4255. He said that 7235R is heavier than his 8310 that he uses for tillage. I understand why you want a short wheelbase though. However the heavier 7xxxR series tractor might be safer for hauling the heavy loads of hay and running the Krone baler. Hope you can find something that will work for your farm in a reasonable price range.

hey, im a technician for a large dealer in england. Personally, for what you do id look for a 6r, all the 7r is giving you is more weight which you dont need(more fuel when roading) as you dont do cultivation work, that ive seen anyway! Get a demo of a 6250r if you can, its a heavy axle much like that 7250r you looked at, much bigger than the 6210r. We have a few on farms and ive never heard anything bad being said about it! No matter what 7530 you look at, a 6250 will piss all over it. ZF's ivt box is tried and tested, stay away from the E23. Its better efficiency (compared to ivt), but you would only see that during road work, you would be too busy changing up and down the gears when baling to notice anything else. Direct drives (for the 6210r) are alright, have a look at the front of the gearbox if its unpainted or looks freshly painted compared to the rest of the box, thats the reverse brake housing, weve changed no end in the beginning as the casing would warp and piss every drop of hydraulic oil out the gearbox/backend. Thats only for the direct drives. Ive only seen one IVT(ZF) box ever replaced, that was not the fault of the tractors or the gearbox. IM GLAD YOURE A DEERE MAN!
@hedydd2

The couplers. The rearmost drains lead to the bottle and you can usefully just take the end of the pipe out of the plastic bottle and let what little drips there are when decoupling, drop to the ground. Your couplers may have centre drains as well that drain oil released when coupling/decoupling under pressure back to the transmission housing. This is clean oil.

19:40 I would also take the john deere, have driven 6130R 6155R 6215R 6250R with cwt also new holland T7270 and Puma 240 CVX compare those to the Fendt 724 they are not as fast in changing from forward to revers like the Fent, but the overall driveability Is a lot nicer. And I think the john deere is a step ower the CNH transmission because its smother in speeding up to top speed.

I spent a lot of hours in a 7930 IVT pulling a 12 row kinzie corn planter and mowing hay with a KUHN 3 header set up. I thought it was pretty bullet proof, excellent machine in my opinion. I'm not sure if they offer them with a suspension or not. I ran a 6615 with a loader a lot as well, love the shuttle shift option but it's not the HP you're looking for at all. I’m not having a go or anything but I’d love to know where you get the idea a Fendt Vario is junk at 5000 hours. I’ve driven a few and seen a few more that have got upwards of that, some with closer to 10000 hours that are still going with original transmissions. Ones that have spent their life doing heavy tillage work are getting a bit worse for wear by that point but the ones I’ve seen that do mostly light work or PTO work (heavy or otherwise) just don’t seem to stop. I’m a Deere person as well but Fendt are a great tractor and when looked after they go forever. Even if you don’t buy one I’d recommend using one for a day or two if you get the chance, they are extremely comfortable and well worth a look at least.

Fendt hasn't got a cone system. 45 degree hydraulic pumps is their system. They don't run a hybrid between power shift and cvt. That's the difference. It's all hydraulic. The problem is braking with the gearbox and manual control, that will destroy those boxes. If you use tms/throttle pedal control no problems at all.

Where I work we have 20 series tractors 30series tractors and R series tractors. The R series tractors are really nice comfortable tractors but have too many small electrical issues and to be honest I think you would be far happier with like a 7520, 7530, 7820, 7830, 7920, or 7930. We got a 6150r and it's been a problem child since it was new. We have an 8220, 7820, and 7930 that we love. We also have a few 8rs that have been good tractors but you just have more electrical issues with R series tractors and the newer the tractor gets the less a farmer can fix on their own without the computer software that the dealers have.

BT phone company here can be a nightmare some of their engineers are good some just take the piss though. They ran a cable under one of our paddocks without telling or telling us how deep it was and a digger went straight through it while sorting a field drain out as it was barely a foot under the ground. He was there from about 8:30am until about 4pm, he worked about 30mins, he would work 5mins then have an hour break and a cup of tea do another 5mins then have a break. All he did was use crimp connectors on the wires didn't even protect them from the damp either with a box, shrink-wrap, liquid tape or even insulation tape. They wanted £600 for it threatening to take us to court for it but suddenly decided they could pay when we asked for a copy of the wayleave giving our permission for the cable to be buried when it was previously overhead until the developer gave the engineers a backhander

I know that Massey Ferguson, Fendt/Challenger and Valtra are using the same gearbokses. They are all owned by Agco. I have driven many hours inn an Fendt 828 Vario 2018 model, nice gearboks! love it. but its freaking noise! holy! the whining and yelling inn the gearboks is almost worse than sitting on an jet engine on full throttle! as you say they only last around 5-7000 hours before they break.

I know this is only 4 tractors but we have 3 fendt 411s and 1 720 2 of the 411s have over 10k hours one 11k we have one with 8k hours These tractors have been doing contract work so alot of road running pulling shit that's way to big for them (we just resontly got the 720) 720 has allmost 2000hours and is about a year old now. So in my experience they have been good although they have had some trouble with valves and sencors

Hey Wes, I don't know if you have looked at Mast Tractor in Ohio, they have a KZbin channel as well, but they have a TON of low hour super nice John Deere 6 and 7000 series tractors for sale with loaders and without. Their prices seem pretty good as well.

You can tell how they are getting paid by the load, or buy the hour on how they drive. By the hour they drive slow, by the load they drive fast.

What I am saying is dont be a fat lazy ass that lives in his mothers basement thats 300 lbs by the name of chuck . You give them equal weights and measures . You give them what they pay for . Dont leave your work for someone else to do . Dont tear down the job you have because your a sorry ass that should not have the job in the first place . I could not work for the Gov leaning on a shovel all day . Thats not me . I WORK . = Pride in workmanship and quality in product kinda makes since huh .

Seriously before you get another 7530, take another look at a 7930 with a loader. I've got a 7730 with the 20spd autoquad and with lhr it would be awesome with a loader, they turn right as a small frame 7030 and ride better then one because the wb is longer. And no emissions besides egr.

Actually the 7rs are a bit shorter than the 7030s but with slightly longer wheelbase. You can put off the front and the wheel weights, this tractor is already more than heavy enough without them. The one i'm driving is about 12.050 kg without front weight. That's quite a bit for 250 Horse.

Ok,I enjoy watching your vids, thank you for generally interesting cont and I know your patriotic, but don't slag off tractors you have no experience of. Fendt are the perfect contratcors vehicle.Like JCB,they are fast comfortable and reliable. I have friends and competitors here in NZ and UK that put 1000's of hours on their Fendt tractors with no issue. Any JD tractors below 7series are built in Europe from a mixture of many foreign parts anyway.

heres another angle to the telehandler debate what if you get a small one that would fit nice on the back of a semi trailer for those far away farms getting hay off the piles to the barns. load the trailer squeeze the machine on the back and off you go instead of having to drive a tractor all the way out to that farm

$305,000.00 for any tractor is simply obscene. News article recently about 20 to 40 year old tractors with same HP ratings going for very high prices at auction. farmers said they were looking at HP and weight, etc WITHOUT all of the emission crap and especially without complex computer controls. Now ain't that interesting.... new tractors with a 250 HP rating have a similar engine as old tractors with a 250 HP rating, Amazing. IVT's are only on new: but so is built in obsolescence....

Maybe trade off the 7410& 8120 and bring home a 6210r and a 7530 with loader plus buy a 2nd set of loader brackets for your own 7530 so you can swap about and swap your loader over to your 7810 from the 7410

John Deere guys told us the same...¨e23 is same comfortable as IVT¨... so we bought tractor with e23 and I've got to say it's definetly not... IVT is much comfortable than e23... And altought we were told, that engines in 7r tractors except 7310R are bad, that they're cousing some floor heat or something idk... But maybe it's not true we didn't bought 7R in the end, so I can't say... But we got two 8R tractors that one is with IVT and one with e23 and IVT is definetly more comfortable... (sorry for my english I'm from Czech Republic...)

If going 7r consider finding a 7290r. 9.0 l engine instead of the 6.8. Good tractors anyway, I know someone who has a 7230r up at 11k hours and no issues.
