Fun fact: 3:40 if you consider the Eisenhorn series of books cannon (which I believe one especially should since the first three books laid the foundation for and did the vast majority of the fleshing out for the concept of Daemon hosts in the 40k universe) Then according to the lore on Daemonhosts from those books, The exorcists are all actually true daemonhosts, still possessed by their daemons, simply play-acting at being normal Marines for some as yet unknown purpose. This is due to the fact that within the cannon of the Eisenhorn saga, Eisenhorn, in conversation with the Daemonhost Cherubaal, explicitly states that an inexorable part of the process of creating a daemonhost is first, the total obliteration of the mortal human soul that once occupied the body, as part of its preparation for habitation. Now granted, what is and is not cannon in the warhammer 40k universe is its own can of worms, but if you chose to believe the Eisenhorn series is, then the rituals of the exorcists would be totally impossible, and is likely just a cover story they chose to feed aspirants about to be sacrificed to grow their secret chaos/daemon possessed legion.

Relictors Space Marine Chapter,this unconventional chapter was deemed traitorous by the inquisition for using chaos weapons against chaos themselves.So they fled into the eye of terror,but their allegiance is with the Imperium. Also Soul Drinkers Chapter,they were betrayed by one of their own but they still fought with imperial fists on their fortress ship till the end when one of their own opened a warp gate inside the Imperial Fist's star fortress.They knew they would be killed by the inquisition because the inquisition saw the whole chapter corrupted beyond salvation(not true) so they also fled into the warp gate wich before closing it for good.Emperor Protects.For those we cherish we die in glory!

great video, as usual! quick thoughts: the space sharks are the best. and pretty clearly of angrons geneseed. the exorcists cant trace their lineage to the grey knights, for the knights are not/ dont have a lineage. the order is, like the deathwatch, recruiting from the other chapters. the steel confessors kinda seem like the iron hands 2.0. their trinity belief is cool but lore wise they seem a little redundant (as many chapters do, but that might be why they get no attention)

Nowhere it has been stated, that the Exorcists are recruiting from other chapters. They can't. The Deathwatch can, because they work for the Inquisition, the Exorcists are just a regular Space Marine chapter and lack the authority to recruit from other chapters.

The charcarodons are one of the most popular successor chapters and hundreds of people run them on the table top. Of all the chapters on this list they make the least sense to be here. Edit: the exorsists are fairly popular too. C'mon man. If anything *all* of the chapters from the badab war are more obscure than the ones listed here.

Keep it up guys!!!!! Could you possibly do a video about Chaos and how different warbands join up with black legion and turn their colors to black and gold becoming members of the black legion? World eaters, noise marines, Deathguard, 1000 sons, etc that are in the codex shown as black and gold themed? Also include different daemon engines the black legion is known for using such as the brass scorpion, or if they use lord of skulls due to world Eaters swearing to abaddon and joining his black legion, what causes them to join in and turn their armors colors to his etc? Or if they ever use anything such as leviathan tanks, or larger flying units? Much love from Texas!!!!

For Iron Warriors, the Honsou Omnibus is a great read. Great action sequences and you’ll end up rooting for them. I’ll have to look at the Skulls book on my shelf since I can’t remember the title 😂

They made the "wolf brothers" chapter but there were problems with the geneseed and they were disbanded. There isn't any info on other chapters being made from the wolves since their geneseed mutation can easily run rampant.
