Fyi your print out isn't the same as what you play. Your to blame = you play A x8 your printable says G x4. To end the song you play D once but printable says 4xD. That's all I've noticed so far... Also thanks for teaching me this song, it's the first song I've ever played on my uke and strumming has not come natural so I've really enjoyed this one :)

This is fantastic! I have such trouble forming some full chords (neuropathy and arthritis). Hearing you make beautiful music with “incomplete” chords is so encouraging. I’m 71 and don’t have the dexterity I once had. What you do allows me to have ukulele music in my life 🎶. Especially helpful were the truncated D and Bm chords. Keep us old geezers in mind. ❤️ much affection, Mike

This is one of my favorite songs to play. My daughter loves it b/c it's one of the only ones I can sing on key(as she loves to point out). Definitely one every uke player should know. Very nice. Let's give Katie a nice round of applause.

☝🎶🏡 Hey there Katie. "Oh, what you do to me, oh, what you do to me" Is TEACH me to sound great when finger picking my ukulele 😁 So fluid this rhythm. My playing actually sounds ok. Now to only sing like you, (#goals). Looked like you were multitasking there at the end. Replying to comments on your phone, tutoring us, closing windows and finding the missing G chord. Actually it was encouraging when you played what you thought was a G. I do this with chords and won't be too hard on myself now, knowing it happens to the best of us. Thanks for the song Katie. Hope you are having an awesome day. 🙏

Lovely arrangement - well done. Perhaps worth mentioning that with a low G you can play the full chords and alternate the bass notes.It also opens up a couple of other minor variations to add interest.
@OneMusicSchool6 жыл бұрын
Yes, that would be great! I know that would add so much. I guess I just wanted to stick to the standard tuning/strings because not everyone has a low G, and I don't want to make the tutorial too long, you know? I struggle because I want people to get good information without being bored and then click away.
