Maybe not a tragedy per se, but there's a very difficult situation that I'm dealing with right now and it devastated me emotionally. This track along with the music video feels extremely on point. I once had an acid trip with the homies. On the way back from the rocky lake, we made a rash decision to drive back home as the sun was setting. It didn't occur to me the danger of the situation until we were already rolling down the two-way lane. I kept telling the homie, "Don't Crash!!" as we drove along the road. A semi approached going the opposite direction as we were going along a curved part of the road. It occured to me in that moment that we were going to crash into it. We were all tripping. I realized there was nothing I can do to stop the approach. As the semi reached the point of intersection, I was bracing and yelling, then everything exploded into psychedelic swirls. That was all there is. I'm still not sure if I actually physically died with the homies that day, but something tells me that that was a taste of what oblivion is. It wasn't bad really. Anyways, this track is quite lovely. Can't wait for the album.
