I traded in my S23 + for OP 12 and boy it was a full upgrade! The system is stunningly smooth and fast (and there is a major update coming soon to the US to make it even better - kudos OnePlus!) All the specs are literally unimpeachable!! The only compromise would be the weight and size for a small hand person lol. But hey, I am holding a beast and it's worth it! I really love how they support the cross device copy and paste in the Link to Windows now, and with the Copy to Clipboard app, I can seamlessly transfer texts and images between my phone and laptop!

i just ordered the OP12 with the OP Watch 2 since it has a discount (The Smartwatch) and will arrive on the 3rd of May. Was surprised that the watch itself has 32gb storage and could download/save music from spotify, finally a watch that I could use for music besides using the phone itself. Upgrading from a OP7 that I bought 4.5 years ago and hopefully it'll last me another 4-6 years before upgrading again.

Daytime photos is very close between all of them then i mean to the new iphone Samaung and pixel and one plus. But damn the one video at night compared to the Iphone One plus really killed that one 👍🏼 But overall, the chip, camera, smoothness, battery, performance, gaming and that beautiful screen, this is so close to the perfect phone, and if you take in the price that combo is very hard to beat.

I love your videos man. Your real world test is what convinced me to buy the base variant s23. I would say it was a good buy. I really like small phones however It doesn't last me all day and charges very slowly. And samsung has little to no custom rom development at all. Which is why I'm contemplating whether I should sell my s23 and get a Oneplus 12 or a Xiaomi 14.

1+12 is great overall, camera is great, it's fast, battery is great and charging as well. The inly downside is fact that oxygenOS is shit compared to PixelUI. I would rate it 9/10 because of oxygenOS, i've switched from pixel 6a and i miss PixelUI and pixel optimization tbh.

Just FYI mate if you double press the volume down button it quick launches the camera on the Oppo find x7 ultra.. it took me a week to get used to it, the power button launches some Chinese AI app lol

The OnePlus 12's ambient display only works in extremely bright light. When in low-light or dark areas, it stays on for just a second and the screen goes dark. Has anyone else had this problem and know how to resolve it? I've already set it to stay on all day. It only stays in direct sunlight outside. If I'm indoors, I have to hold myself about an inch away from a very bright light for it to stay on.

and that is why with the premiere of One Plus 13 I am saying goodbye to Samsung S24 Ultra. I've been with Samsung since the S8, through all the Galaxy Notes and every S model. I changed to the newest one every year, but this year it was the worst. Samsung has just rested on its laurels and has completely stopped trying. in S24 Ultra there are more things broken than working. On the Samsung forum, thousands of people are dissatisfied and Samsung pretends that there is no problem. I'm tired of being fucked from behind, where the phone is currently backwards in terms of photos to the S22 Ultra, and many say even to the S21 Ultra. Enough of this to prevent Samsung from ending up like Xperia in the future. They also did not want to hear users' opinions, and they did everything according to themselves, everyone knows what percentage of the market they currently occupy. Samsung is starting to follow the same path, I'm going where someone else cares, currently I feel it with One Plus.

Scenic, wide shots, night shots, everything is fine but as soon as it comes to shooting a particular subject, close up or even at some distance, it starts loosing definitions and texture details. Even portrait shots comes out softer and smooth and flat most of the time compared to it's competition. Those shots where subjects looking crisp and standing out is never a strength on OnePlus phones. Example the beer glass shot. But for wide shot, it will do just fine even capturing more details than others.

Actually, oxygen OS and color os are not identical. There are subtle differences. Frankly, I prefer the hasselblad color science. The colors are far more accurate and true to life. Like Samsung the color science on Pixel devices is oversaturated and doesn't look natural. While the price of the Google pixel 8 Pro and the OnePlus 12 maybe similar, there is a massive difference. The 12 utilizes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 generation 3; flagship processor. Conversely, the pixel 8 Pro offers the tensor G3; high-tier mid-range processor. There's no way I would spend my money on an alleged flagship device that produces mid-range results. I also prefer the curved glass design on the OnePlus 12. Curved glass is far more ergonomic and offers a much more premium look.

I just had a Pixel 8 Pro and love the OnePlus more. Pixels have great software and cameras. The battery life is abysmal though and I actually had choppy performance at times due to the processor which is a bit lacking.

I can only speak for Samsung's software, but it's not that bad as people make it out to be. I'm sure it's kind of the same for Oppo's skin. I'm saying this as a stock android enthusiast. Most of the times it's too feature packed and hence bloated. And it's likely that the animations are on the heavier side. Also since there will be good amount of custom Roms for one plus devices LineageOS will be here in a few months.
