Bought one of these sweet things. Have two of the OPPs. And they do everything I need. With one issue. When I watch movies that I buy from KZbin the movie flickers horribly. Most times I can get it to stop, but it is incredibly annoying. The OPP2 does not suffer from this issue which is great. It also does everything I need. However this tablet also suffers from an unexpected problem. It is crazy stupid fast. I mean zoom. I’d say as far as all the android pads I’ve used over the years. The OPP2 is by far the fastest, smoothest preforming Android Pads. Not really a bad thing to suffer from and not really a problem. Was not a fan of android for a long long time but OP and Oxygen OS make this a whole new experience, and one that I quite enjoy.

@@fab7228 Hi... The Pad doesn't have it inbuilt. You can use 3rd party notes application that offers scribble to text for notes. But if that's your major requirement, ai would suggest to go for Samsung Tab as they have it inbuilt and provide better features for notes taking

I don't have Oppo phone to confirm but I think it might support as the Keyboard is identified as Oppo keyboard 😅. For all the features to work there is minimum version requirement though.

The native features included for Notes taking, annotations, write to text etc are so useful and optimized from a very long time. Content viewing will be great too. Hi, it does, but only when the Stylo 1 is already paired with the Pad as Stylo 2 doesn't pair with it. So Pad 1 thinks we are using Stylo1 in such case. So technically if you don't have Stylo 1, as of now Stylo 2 cannot work with OnePlus Pad 1. Will update if that changes with any software update.

@@IMRANKHAN-l6e6k Such offer won't be possible with Pad2. The pad offer is to clear their stocks. So to get such offers, pad3 should be released. But yes, you can wait for some discount offers if you are in no hurry. May be if some other pad releases in competition, price might reduce

Hey bro... I do not have Netflix presently, will try to arrange from someone and test it. I tried playing HDR videos from local player but they played in SDR. So mostly a software issue to be resolved.

@@harshlakhotiya137 Unfortunately there's no point buying 3rd party ones as they won't work well. I wish OnePlus could do something about it. I have been trying to find a solution for this. Will update if I find any.

Thanks for checking the video... The rumoured specs and price of Xiaomi Pad 7 seem definitely more worthy than the Pad 2 but the software optimization wise I am not sure how the Pad 7 would perform. If not urgent, better to wait for another Tablet with Snapdragon 8 gen 3 to release for better comparison.

Hey... It doesn't. Even on manual it says, compatible with Pad 2 only. But technically it should work as the Stylo 2 works when Stylo 1 is connected to Pad 1 and it also shows a connecting symbol when I try to charge Stylo 2 with Pad 1... So hopefully OnePlus can implement an update and make it possible. I did give that feedback to them.

Hi bro.. as much as I would love to make, I have not used any Pad other than OnePlus pad 1,2 and Oppo Pad Air 7... I don't like making comparison videos based on just specs without using other tablets. But just by my exposure to the tech I can suggest to go for a Samsung tab if the intention is notes taking. They have amazing Spen features that are far ahead than other tablets.

@@ssnsvs There is no green line issue on Pad 1 reported nor I faced. Note taking features are not much on OnePlus pads, but it is manageable. Like if you want your writing to be converted to text automatically, that's not available in Notes app. I don't know about the processor performance of S9Fe+ but have used SPen features which are the best for notes taking. I would suggest checking some long term reviews of S9FE+ and if there are many performance issues reported, then you can go with Pad2.

@@samthomas770 hi... This is a great tab if the usage would be for all the tasks except notes and drawing. For notes and drawing I would suggest a Samsung tab rather as it has more software features and inbuilt stylo features focused on students and artists. OnePlus has a long way to reach there.

@@samthomas770 As mentioned, if the main requirement is faster and smoother performance for a very long time, Pad 2 would be better but as you specifically said for school needs the Exynos would perform well as the use won't be like a power user. The notes taking and drawing are top notch due to the software integration. So do check comparison videos on the aspect and take a call based on the priority of usage.
