Whoever that john oneshot guy is, they are a silly billy yapping purist. You can do both by playing it normally and speedrunning it. Just like any other games that we purchased lol. Like bro, it's not like speedrunners are oneshot fans themselves that did normal playthroughs before. Like any other games, some speedrunners are the fans of the game themselves. They spent fkg hours to understand the dev aspects from that same game, from how the physics engine works to knowing how the lore of the game was written. "Not some stupid game for speedrunning" that sounds like condescending and hating the speedrun community as a whole for an ego boost to the mooooon

john oneshot is completely right. however, the biggest aggressors are those demons that made the console port. like oneshot can already be played on pretty much any computer above gen 2 why would you suck out all the soul from the game for everyone just for a console monetization??!?? you couldve just made overpriced merch and everyone would be happy !!!!

Theres unique content not a lot of people got to experience and it all costs 15$. No one found documented that content either so its kinda sad
