Don't live in fear of one player (Messi). In the first match of the tournament Messi had a few cracks before they actually put one in, Crepeau was up to the challenge and he will be tonight. Canada wins if they play a VERY tight, disciplined game defensively and are clinical on the other side with any chances they do get. Argentina will score, it will be on Canada to do the same.

Yes but very unlikely. They are going to need their best match of their lives but some margin, good refereeing and some luck. And Argentina needs to have a bad match - maybe drugged the way Brazil was against France in 1998 World Cup Final... Frankly, I am happy if they score a goal and don't let in more than 3 or 4. I am very very happy if Canada gets two goals, regardless of how many they concede. I just want to see them score some goals.

They just need to play as they played vs chile....tight in the back and Eustaquio/Osorio killing it in the middle. Try to counter, but not overcommit on the counters or when up on corners... You got this boo❤

Something that Canada could do to increase its chances is VERY simple: DO NOT bring Liam Millar into the game. He does absolutely nothing. He can't even score a penalty. I actually took the time to look up Millar's performance in all games for Team Canada (all 37 of them! (including U20 and U21 performances) and all he does is mess up, miss clear chances, lose the ball, etc... he scored ONCE (out of 37 games) in last year's Gold Cup against CUBA, when Canada was already comfortably ahead 3-1...

Messi is never very good in mid summer. Watch any of the past few World Cups. He won the last World Cup when it was in December and in the middle of his club season. Playing all the high profile club games all season wipes him out.
