Decided to get on the hot tent bandwagon with the OneTigris Smokey HUT Ultralight hot tent. This tent weighs in at around 2.6 pounds making it perfect for backpacking. The stove is a OneTigris Tiger Roar camp stove.

Your friend is really funny and has a fantastic 'stache. That Smokey Hut looks perfect for what I need: room to sit in the tent while it's raining, hot-tent capability (that I'll probably never use), ultralight, plenty of tie-outs to withstand those really windy days, room for at least 2. I'm getting it
