My brother is ftm, which is relevant because this Doctor is wildly loved by every cisgender man that knows him in our family and friend circles(they report being talked to in scientific terms, as if they're just as smart as the doctor himself), but my brother is not out to him and assumed to be a woman. My brother went to the appointment because he has anemia; his iron levels are on level 8, which we were told is concerning, and if he reaches 6, blood transfusions will be necessary. My brother explained his symptoms to the Doctor, but he instantly dismissed it as my brother being hormonal and emotionally tired. He went through a whole speech with my brother and grown adult mother where he should "Make a fun game of it where you cut off all the toxic people in your life and give them names", you know, the way you'd give therapy to a 10 year old to make them understand self care better. This is the same doctor that, when I came up to get my meds for depression, immediately pried me for answers as to why I am depressed and need anti-depressants, and spent the whole appointment being a scrappy therapist and not giving me my meds. He also talked to my dad in professional terms whenever he's sick, but when he talks to my mother, he's like "Let's fix that widdle bug in your stomach"

Alright, here's an important psa that apparently needs to be said, because no one teaches amabs anything about the afab reproductive system, apparently 1. The vagina and the urethra are two separate openings. The vagina leads to the uterus, and the urethra leads to the bladder. They are not connected. 2. The reason you can hold it in when you have to pee or poop is because the urethra and anus both have sphincters at the entrance. Vaginas do not have sphincters, and afabs can't just "hold in" our period blood.

10:26. Yeah. My wife really struggled with breastfeeding. Like her boobs were always small, but she expected them to grow during breastfeeding. They didn't. And she was only able to get about 1 "meal" of milk throut the day, so we mostly fed our baby formula. Then she went to check with a doctor if this could or needs to be fixed. Turns out she had about as much "milk producing tissue" as I do. And the fact that she was actually able to get any of milk at all is a testiment to her dedication. On the upside her risk of ever developing break cancer is also about as high as mine. Biological sex is not super rigid too, folks.
@Mxmiaozers9 ай бұрын
I have a relative who had milk come in under her armpits. Literal milk sacks under the skin under her arms. The docs said that happens sometimes. The weirdest part was this was the second child she breastfed. For the first the milk came in the typical way. Human biology can have such wide array of expression! In secondary sex characteristics and in all sorts of other functions.
@wills99 ай бұрын
So from a quick google search on the subject it appears that breast size has no correlation with ability or amount of milk production. Larger breasts also have a larger amount of fat tissue. I am unsure to what your wife specific condition was or if it was related to breast size but either way it truly shows the diversity of human morphology and appearance.

@@wills9I would assume by “milk producing tissue” they are referring to the alveoli in the mammary glands.
@pavelZhd9 ай бұрын
@@wills9 you are correct in pointing out that large breasts do not automatically translate into more milk. At the same time it is reasonable to assume that small breasts would not be able to house a large amount of mammary gland tissue. As to what caused this development in my wife - honestly we don't know either. Our best guess is it has to do with her mother drinking heavily during pregnancy. This did have bad effect on her kidney development. And since mammary tissue is also tied to blood filtration, it could have been affected too.

There are a lot more fun options, so looking for your favourite animal can be a nice thing to do when borde. There are also those that still lack the bit of fun in their lives, but no one is stopping you from forming your own. Memory foam upgrade took me out! 🤣🤣🤣 Welcome back, OT, glad to see another video! Hope things are going smoother now for you.

But … now I have to ask … is it the kind of memory foam that holds it’s shape firmly, until warmed up, or is it the kind of memory foam that as it warms it becomes more rigid? Both, I think, would have different benefits and drawbacks? I’d think thermoform plastic might be a better choice? “No just stay exactly like that, while it forms to you. It sets in about 3 hours, so … what do you want to talk about in the meantime?”

The best response for these bad womens anatomy is "That's not how that works, that's not how any of this works".

5:54 my dad used to know a guy who would brag he had been with over 100 women, my dad got sick of it and said "Yeah but how many twice?" the guy could talk women into bed once but after "sampling the goods" he could never get them back into bed. the guy never brought it up again.

This last post I understand. I grew up in a world where the jokes about women having to stave off advances with their partners were the most frequent type. This was true of movies, TV shows, interactions with adults (not telling these jokes to me, but to each other, and me over hearing them). Plus, in these same topics, it was always men “making the moves” on women. To say nothing about the discussions on rape. It was always men that were the perpetrators. So the impression that “men like it, women just deal with it” is *still* one that I struggle with even decades later.

I love it when dudes on KZbin are more educated and respectful about how female bodies work than 99% of all people on earth.

For some reason I haven't watched this channel in months and I've been having a really tough time but hearing OT's goofy little laugh just made me feel so much better
