It was about a trans woman who lived in a state that was super conservative and wouldn't recognize her gender. Since she was legally a man, she had no problem legally marrying her (cis) girlfriend. Any time I feel sad, I think back to this post on Tumblr I saw of how a person was sitting in school and there was a snake that the teacher would let students hold. The snake would wrap itself around girls' arms in a friendly way and snuggle them, while with guys, the snake would, like, limply lay on their desk. When it was OP's (they were ftm trans but didn't know at the time of the incident) turn to hold the snake, the snake laid limply on the table. The teacher was so confused. Later in life, OP came out as a trans man and thought back on the incident with fondness. There was a reblog of the post with a snake having a trans cape on it's back...I think about this a lot and it puts a smile on my face.

To all the people learning to paint your nails, you want to start right near your cuticle, but not quite touch it, if you leave a little gap there it will help your nail polish last longer as your nails grow. then you want to apply alittle bit of pressure so the bristles of the brush fan out alittle bit and make one swipe down your nail. Repeat toward each edge until your nail is covered, if you get some nail polish on your skin just take a small cheap makeup brush and dip it in acetone and clean up around your nail. For maximum longevity use a base coat and top coat with your nail colour, gel polish takes less time to dry because you cure it under a uv lamp (you can buy gel polish and uv lamps pretty cheap off of amazon) and it also lasts longer, but you have to buff your nails alittle bit to make the surface less smooth and remove by soaking your nails in acetone, best method is to soak cotton balls in acetone and stick them on your nails and wrap in tin foil for 10 to 15 minutes. Hope this helps!❤️

Love how some people are just so, and I mean SO ignorant on being transphobic or homophobic to their just newly found lgbtq+ child. I’ve been dealing with my parents being homophobic since I came out to my family 4 years ago that I was les and just found the love of my life and I was so happy. Ya know, being so happy I told them and in that they told away my gf, my PS4, my computer, and my phone. My friends couldn’t believe that they did that, I was just down in the dumps and still is. It’s been 4 months since they took away my gf. If y’all having problems with coming out, I’ll be here if you need ideas or something along those lines. Im here!

Can confirm about the former anti-sjw thing. Hehe… I found out in therapy that I was acting that way because I wasn’t allowed to be my bisexual enby self without being torn down, so I was lashing out to try and make other people feel just as bad because I felt helpless in the situation. Once the behavior was recognized, I was able to cut those people out of my life and start being a far more positive and supportive person to others in the same situation as myself.
