this might be my SOTY! seriously amazed with how oneus consistently outdo themselves. i saw a couple people say they didn’t like the first rap verse and i have to disagree (not just saying that bc ravn is my bias LMAO.) i think it provided a good break because the instrumental is kind of repetitive? it was like a musical palette cleanser.

Their music is so unique everytime, I'm glad that this group exists they're so talented, I'm not super into dance breaks in songs usually but as it is traditional themed I think it actually suits the song so I'm not mad at it!! I'm so happy Xion (the long haired guy) has finally proper long lines, he's the only member of the group that has a low singing voice and I think he brings a lot of flavour the oneus' sound

No Diggity was amazing. I think people who hate it didn't listen to it enough times - it really starts shining in a different way when you listen to it on repeat and notice all the small details. It's deliciously complex and stimulates so many nerve endings. The fact that it's unlike their other songs is a GOOD thing. And they looked hot as hell in the concept. Also, I strongly disagree that "melodic" is what ONEUS do best or what they "should" do for some reason. They do all kinds of styles well - that's why they are so outstanding. And they should experiment and challenge themselves which they do. Don't come up with some borders they should never cross. They are better than all those groups who always do the same shit over and over.

Chorus is literally the best of the year for me not gonna lie (and I don't usually like boy groups). Just think this song didn't really need a rap (especially the first one) and the dance break feels like a bit TOO much of a switch for me. Otherwise, this would have been SOTY for me. I think the rap part sounds great in this song but I agree they're not always necessary, especially since both rappers can sing ( especially Leedo but even RAVN is a good singer) so they could totally kill a full singing track

One of my favourite title tracks they have done is LIT because it’s so different to what I had heard and it was probably the first traditional kpop song I heard,it was so beautiful and catchy. When the teaser dropped I knew I was going to love this. And do I? Of course I do. It’s so gorgeous not only the video but the song,how they pay homage to their culture is so stunning. I’m especially proud of Xion,this is the most lines he’s got in a title track and he really stood out to me. This comeback is just perfect in every way possible. How do people still not know this group? They’re so underestimated,these boys within this year have released 3 entirely different albums,each title track different to the other,grunge/dark,disco/Michael jackson inspiration and now a cultural song im sorry,that just blows my mind.

I saw your tweet about it and was excited that you checked out the cb and evidently enjoyed it ♡ The production value on this mini album is absolutely incredible and the Intro + Luna combo is insane. Love the detail of Ravn signing his verse off with "Rayooksijo/Ra recites poetry" instead of the usual "Ra spit out flame". A sijo poem was also used for the lyrics of Window.
