Nice to hear your thoughts and experience with the upgraded motor. Was a total surprise when they announced this new option for the Pint line.. which until recently has gotten as much attentions as the GT line-up. Can't complain now.. full line of upgrades from FM.

But it didnt transform your pint x into a pint s, because they have the same motor... The Onewheel "Pint S" doesnt have/come stock with a "Pint S" motor. A Pint X and a Pint S is the EXCACT. SAME. BOARD. Except for new tire, footpads and cosmetics. They are tricking customers into thinking that the Pint S has hardware upgrades like (controller, motor or battery.). By saying it has a higher topspeed (Which it doesnt.), "We took the Pint X and souped it up with new firmware". That is LITERALLY THE SAME SOFTWARE AS THE PINT X, by not updating their website, pamphlets and ads. With many more things. The Pint S is not an upgraded Pint X. It's a Pint X, with a bundle. And being adverised as something completely revolutionary, which it isnt.

@@andreas3904 I agree with you, it would've been better for them to advertise it more clearly in regards to what the pint S is from what the pint should've been. as far as installing a new performance motor this would've been the pint S that we all been wanting.

The pint s series motor has stronger magnets=more torque. And more copper windings=better thermals=stays cooler.

True, but it then cuts into your top speed as a tradeoff, unfortunately.

Is the braking stronger than the stock motor? One of my fav things about the GTS is how strong the braking is, it's saved me a few times already.

Breaking is pretty strong, if not a bit stronger compared to the old motor

Does the new motor hit 20 or is pushback same as before at 17-18mph?

I've hit 20 when i accelerate rapidly, then haptic buzz and pushback kick in.
