Christopher Rapczynski devs didn't overreach as much as they do now. Now they neglect clarity and crispness in favour of packing in more postprocessing garbage and graphics consoles clearly can't run at acceptable fidelity or frame rate. Then they reduce the resolution to some god awful non power-of resolution like 900p that will never look good when scaled on a TV instead of 720p wich scales better. FUCK game devs are stupid these days. Anyway...

I think it's when the code sucks. there's script that runs that when the button is pressed the action that takes place in the game happens afterwards that's why frame rate is important the faster your game can register your inputs the faster your character becomes

I remember I bought this game as a kid at a Flee market like a year after it came out. I was freaking out going "Oh my God the new Crash game!" So I got it, brought it home, and was SUPER confused cause I was thinking it was gonna be like the formulaic platforming kind of game. Twinsanity is the definition of middle of the road 5/10. The good parts are REALLY good and fun, but everything else is so bland and empty -- not even "ok", just horribly boring

do they? It's probably because it was a short easy game with lots of flaws due to it being rushed and cut short. Honestly, as fun as this game is, the best things about it are the music, the first half of the game and Cortex because Crash doesn't really do anything personality wise. But from what I hear, everyone says this is the best Crash game for the ps2.
