@@StickMan10Blue i meant to say 3d platformer, my bad. because 3d platformers (usually) necessitate the use of your right thumb to direct the camera, which is already tough enough to do while also having to jump or do whatever else the face buttons perform. throwing in a need to constantly hold down a face button to run inhibits your ability to not only simultaneously turn the camera while running, but also running, moving the camera, AND jumping/shooting/whatever else the game may include speaking of which, as far as i can remember only 1 other 3d mario game had a run button, 64 DS. and everybody hated it lmao
