Onion weeds! I hate them!

You are spot on. Got to get rid of the bulb and bulblets. I made a video on how i got rid of them and cook the dirt to kill the bulblets

My garden was full of these when I bought the house a few years ago. We pulled up 4 inches of soil all over the lawn and replaced with fresh soil with no weeds. Roundup didnt do the trick for us. The onion weeds still come up! Its alot better now but they literally can grow from seeds deep down in the soil. Like you said, a nightmare but Im digging them out as I find them and hopefully in a couple of years we should be rid of them. Hard work
