How do we reference your wok?
@Onlinepmcourses4 жыл бұрын
Start with the referencing convention your institution mandates. But the convention for referencing web content also suggests you use a 'retrieval date' in case the online content changes. In the case of this content, I suggest you cite this information, in whatever format your institution expects: Video title, publisher, source, publication date, retrieval date So, Project Delivery | PM in a Nutshell: Deliver Your Project (video), Dr Mike Clayton, KZbin kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoDad2erdqyjeLc, 20 May 2016, retrieved on 27 April 2020

this is all too much, too blocky, too wordy, all of this before you’ve done anything… 9/10 of pms ive ever worked with were not very useful at the point i encountered them (im a labourer), but i dont blame them, this is way too much and the real world is much more variable than this, expertise and knowledge beats planning everyday; whilst a pm stuck behind the computer or their paper trying to account for change, im putting it into action. though i am not a high up person, so im not rubbishing the practice, i know pms are needed especially at higher levels of work

You start by saying 'all of this before you’ve done anything…'. In fact, this is module 3 of a four-module mini-course on KZbin. This is an indication of the Project Management tasks in the Delivery Stage. To put it in context, you need also: 1. Project Definition: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fnjOinetbNCrhtU 2. Project Planning: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpmloGOKadyWg5I 3. Project Delivery: This video 4: Project Closure: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3PTp2Onfad9aqM This free mini-course is about the framework, not the 'how'. And, how much of the framework you would need to apply will depend on the nature of the project - it's scale, complexity, risk profile, impact, importance... It is possible that, from your perspective, you do not see the big picture on your projects. There may be other stuff you are unaware of, if your work sits wholly within one workstream.

@@everythingisfake7555 Thank you. I see it as my job (as a PM educator and communicator) to explain things to people who want to learn!
