I don't actually think conflict is always a bad thing, it can be a vehicle to open lines of communications. I encourage clearing conflicts with "think and act like and owner", "practice blameless problem solving" and finally "debate then align" - followed by a dose of "keep things fun".

Absolutely - there is a constructive side to conflict. It relies on mutual respect. And, of course, I always refer to negotiation as conflict that follows a process and has (unwritten) rules.
