Will it be okay to cut into several pieces, wrap in wax paper candy wrappers and give as gifts, or do they have to stay refrigerated?
@ASimpleLifewithChrisTara Жыл бұрын
Well, it really depends on your temp in your home. When we have our woodstove going, it needs to be refrigerated or gets too soft. But yes, u can give as gifts, but you can just tell them when they get home to keep in the fridge.

Here is a little hack for you, use a pizza cutter to cut the fudge. It makes cleaner cuts and it's quicker.

Melt them in their containers way easier

Yes, it would be easier, but definitely not using plastic in the microwave....I don't even like using a microwave lol

I've made it this way, but it doesn't set up
@ASimpleLifewithChrisTara Жыл бұрын
Hate to hear that. I wonder if maybe it could have something to do with the brands used or time in the microwave?? Don't use the whipped frosting. One time, we used cream cheese frosting instead of vanilla, and it did affect it a little.
@joycerottmann8773 Жыл бұрын
@ASimpleLifewithChrisTara I used Jiff, and made sure it wasn't the whipped kind. I bought the ingredients again, and I'm gonna give it another try!

That kind of frosting has all kinds of chemicals, you can do the same thing with just sifted powdered sugar and peanut butter if you dont want to make the old fashion kind which is not hard.
