I could almost taste it when you had a bite. I could feel it melting in my mouth. I’m glad you showed what the softball method looked like when it’s ready and when it’s not that’s very helpful.

You had me at peanut butter…❤❤❤❤ thank you for sharing. Great tip with the ice water.

The test for checking the stage that the fudge is at is what cooks have used for years. They didn't have candy thermometers back in the day. There's hard ball, crackle, etc. Enjoy your fudge.

My Dad made this fudge minus the marshmallow. Many happy kitchen memories.

This recipe reminds me of no bake cookies but instead of oatmeal you used marshmallows, sounds so yummy. I will definitely try this one. 💖💖🙏🙏👍👍🙏🙏💖💖

This has got to be the easiest looking fudge to make that I have seen to date!!! I do prefer the drier crumbly fudge and not the gooey fudge. Mine always bombs and is gooey!!! Thank you so much for sharing ❤
@RhondasthriftyАй бұрын
Try cooking it a little longer if you like it more crumbly. Over the years before I perfected it I have undercooked and had to eat it with a spoon and also overcooked and could barely get it out of the pan. lol

I have a thermometer in the spatula. I LOVE it, you can see the temperature as you’re stirring it. I got mine on Amazon.
@RhondasthriftyАй бұрын
so funny you mentioned that, I had one, it broke and I just got a new one from Amazon today. That would have helped me in the video!
@charyoungberg6623Ай бұрын

@RhondasthriftyАй бұрын
I never have but I'm sure it would be fine, just a little crunchy! Thanks for watching!

No salt or butter. Also, no beating. Sounds almost too easy, and it sounds and looks delicious. Do you have to refrigerate it. Thanks for sharing your old family recipe,
@RhondasthriftyАй бұрын
no refrigeration, just an airtight container. Thanks for watching!

I believe this is an amazing recipe. Which I will try. But, I cringe when I see plastic ( whip) sitting in high temps. . Thanks for sharing this family recipe
@RhondasthriftyАй бұрын
I only used the whisk long enough to get the lumps out of the cocoa, then switched over to a spatula. I have never had a whisk melt on me, but there's a first time for everything. lol
