Here in the Phils we do not put the egg white just the egg yolk thats why youll need a lot of eggs to make the flan texture more smooth. We also add lemon zest and vanilla. Thats called Leche Flan.

Spanish influence in the Phillipines was so great ( under Spain for 300 years ) that even Spanish surnames were adapted during the conquistadors' era. To add more flavor to the flan, may I suggest a caramelized orange rind, to name a few, as topping.

Is not made with only condensed milk and eggs. Don't fall for it. This is pure sugar there. Do 4 large eggs, one can of condensed milk, one medium pack of heavy cream 18% and some vanilla or lemon juice " whatever flavor you would like. And if you want to cook it faster, put in the oven instead. But still have to put in a pan with water and cover it up.
