I still have my Narcine in drydock, but haven't touched it in years. Won it from a fleet contest, and it was my first promo ship ever. Loved the aquatic cruiser from Enterprise, so I was very happy to get it.

It's ships like this that constantly makes me pissed they have yet to make a T6 Voth Balwark Dreadnought. Everybody likes the Dino Dildo.

Yes, there is a T5 box. But it's just full of sad lockbox noises. I've donated them to my fleet. I've sold them on the Exchange, and I've just simply deleted them. ...I think I might still have a few of those old Xindi lockboxes.

I have an alt flying this ship it's pretty cool, I had no idea they had removed these from the t5 box, I have about 20 of these boxes in my bank they are basically worthless :(

I still use a Hirogen Hunter Heavy Escort [T5-X2] ship for most of the space event missions. It has the Lobi three piece Altamid set with a full plasma build and the Assimilated three piece ship set, to give it an amazing Borg look. So much fun to use, can make the new expensive ships seem boring and can be picked up for 1mil on the exchange.

Isn't the only "premium" T5 LB ship that gets a free upgrade the Hirogen Hunter anymore? Another micro-system that became a casualty of Cryptic's approach of abandoning something to add something else.

Just so everyone understands, you can still get a near identical ship, technically an upgraded one, that looks exactly the same (I assume you get all skins). It's just a T6 ship instead of a T5 one. Is it hard/expensive to get sure but so were the T5s back then, as Gauss showed it took him 100 keys to get one. There's seemingly zero benefit to having the T5 version of this ship over the T6 one as far as I can tell because with the T6 when you get the trait and specialisation seating. As gauss said T5 ships are completely neutered by the game and STO gives away plenty of T6 ships over the course of a year, including the campaign reward which can get you any promo/infinity ship including the Briostrys, so there's no reason a new player would ever need a T5 ship in the games current state. Now if you want an actually rare ship you should look at the Suliban Cell Ship that has unique onboard amenities that very few ships in the game have and comes from a Doff pack, no idea what the odds are but I've only ever been invited to one.

IIRC, didn't they have like an ability on the frigates, that was setting records back in the day? Like attack plan Alpha or something, that one would stack on a ship, allowing huge out puts. Or Am I thinking of something else. I have to admit, I always wanted one of them, but never got the chance.

i picked up my carrier back when it came out. Still use it to this day. I used to take on top dps players and some couldn't figure out how i kept up with their dps. Love my turret build

Maybe I'm missing something, but did they remove the T6 Briostrys-class Dreadnought Carrier? You can just equip the skin as it comes with the Narcine skin.

Can you share the interior of this ship? What I don't like in this game is: that I cannot see the interior of the ship I buy and is a static scene. Why don't make the bridge more interactive? If you get the chat and some dialog window you can bring into the ship interior and have a good interaction with missions and crew and social media. Also, why cannot get a member crew with me on my event? Is just a math and development. In Star Trek Online my nickname is catafest .

Yes you cannot have one. You can have the BETTER one from mud though...... the t6 variant is a straight upgrade and comes with the og skin.

As a long time Trek fan, I joined STO on day one of launch (as a lifetime sub). I've been in a Trek PC clan since the days of SFA (Starfleet Academy by Interplay) and the guys in the clan have a decent PvE/PvP presence in STO (Task Force Phoenix), yet I still cannot get into this game. It always feels like a giant cash grab and videos like this make me not want to waste my time when really good MMO's like Guild Wars 2 exist. For all the legit complaints about ArenaNet, I feel like they at least know the majority of their customer base is there based on the good will they have created and curated. I think STO has been passed around too much (devs) and is simply looked at as a cash grab by whoever recently holds the publishing rights. What a shame for a show about a future where everything is not monopolized and turned into cash grabs.
