A minimalist routine is the way to go. Shampoo, deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, oil, and hair butter cream sealant for me in my little stash. Plus additives such as heat protectants when heat styling.

Thank you for this video ! I’m in the process of combing out my locs and I’m overwhelmed by all the products that are on the market and I don’t know what to buy 😩. So many choices ! I want to keep it simple just like when I had locs

I had my staples when my hair was relaxed. Now that I'm transitioning, so far I haven't hoarded too many products. I have 3 products im sticking with. My oil mix, a leave in spray and the shea moisture shampoo you showed

The don't despair line is my luxury plurge. I also use innersense ICH as a wash and go topper. My current go to products are Donna's recipe and Miche. These 2 lines are what I reach for and routinely repurchase.

I have used ICH on my ends but haven’t used it on a regular so it didn’t make it to the list😅

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been wanting to know what products you use. I’ll try your favourite leave-in and see how it agrees with my hair. At the moment I use the Shea moisture castor oil strengthen and restore leave-in.

I have 2 of everything, plus heat protectant because sometimes I need to add protein and other times avoid protein. I also sometimes clarify (after using heat protectant with silicones) and other times a moisturizing shampoo. So basically I have 9 products minimum I need. 2 shampoos, 2 deep conditioners, 2 leave-in conditioners, 1 heat protectant, 2 sealants (oils for blowouts to not be weighed down and grease for protective styles). Also have some essential oils I add to a mixture of carrier oils that promote hair growth. So really 10 is my minimal stash. Really I also have multiples of conditioners because I just haven't found 'the best' for that, but I hope to within the next few months have settled on exactly the brands I will use. I'm set for heat protectant, sealants and shampoos though. In the summer I really like that Mielle moisture milk for re-moisturizing mid-week when having a twistout. The fragrance is so mild and pleasant and it's really moisturizing.

This sounds very reasonable and still minimalistic! I also love to use essential oils on my scalp to maintain a clean scalp and for dandruff prevention!

Hello ma 🤗🥰. Good evening from Nigeria 🇳🇬. Nice to see you here 😄and yes you're looking good. Honestly you're beautiful ❤️. And your skin! Your skin!! It's glowing ✨ I love how clear and even it is. What's your skin care routine please?🥺 Anyway 😅 I also intend to keep things simple. Coz I'm a lazy natural 😂 sooooo I really want to find ways to grow my hair with simplicity. And yes, I washed my hair today 🙈. I used black soap. Then I deep conditioned with the Mega Growth Deep Conditioner. And now I'm gonna moisturize ☺️ I still want to add some staple products tho when I get the money 😁. Stay blessed,stay beautiful ❤️ and my regards to your husband and your beautiful baby.

I don’t heat style my hair. I rock a braided ponytail most of the time. I use 4 products. Shea Moisture Jamaica Black Castor oil shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and spray with castor oil before blow drying to seal and protect. I’m done.😊

Great video! I have days where I only use shampoo, conditioner, & Leave-in. Less is best😊 I do have extra products for various styling needs however. Gels for WnG and cornrows, Butter for twists, and foam for braids or other styles that have to be set. Then I have a whole line for when I want to straighten my hair 😅 How do you like the smell of the Briogeo? I've just recently started using it, and the scent isn't the best IMO.

Ahhh nice 👍🏽. I don’t mind the scent actually especially because the product is a rinse out

I have the same types of selections. Everything has to be moisturizing or repairing. I have done lots of research for my EVERLASTING TWA that’s finally growing out. My go to styler for natural styles is Blue Magic Castor oil grease for hair ends. Since my ends don’t dry out, I’m finally retaining length.

Kindly elaborate more on using gel to prevent single strand knots cause I have major setback due to that after waring my hair out😢and nothing am doing works.I never used gel though

Pretty much putting gel on the ends of your hair to keep them in place, avoid tangling and single strand knots

Hi, I was wondering if you could recommend any products. I have medium 4a-4b high porosity hair and nothing has seemed to help my hair, it is always and extremely dry and has some breakage.
@CoilyDiaries Жыл бұрын
So sorry to hear this. Have you seen the moisturizing videos I have shared recently? An aloe spritz as a final step of your moisturising routine can help close the cuticle. Also using enough product plus heavy products like castor oil can help keep the cuticle closed
